Astros...30-1 to win ws......wasted $$ or not???

This team has been hot,hot,hot.......if they get into the playoffs the seem to have a pretty good shot......any thoughts on this future

BTW....they knocked around Kerry Wood and Mark Prior in Chicago a few weeks back....so they have beaten some decent pitchers during this streak.

I am a HUGE Astros fan, but recognize that they will not get past the Cardinals. They are the team to beat in the majors. They have been consistant all year long and have a complete team (pitching and hitting). There are better bets to make in my opinion.

I personally think the Cards record is overrated based on all the national leasue teams they play...........If they were in the AL I dont think they would have the record they do. There division is also weak in my opinion.

Whos are the Cards going to throw out in must win post season games...............Morris(he sucked again today)???? Chris Carpenter(WHO)???? Jeff Suppan(yeah right)?? Jason Marquis????

Dont get me wrong.......congrats on the Cards for a great year but how are they going to match up in the WS if the Red Sox make it? The Sox have 2 premier starters in Pedro and Schilling......going to be pretty tough for any team to win a long series with the Red Sox...........
