FLORIDA MARLINS -115 ? A.J. Burnett is quickly becoming one of the best young pitchers in the NL. He deserves much better than his 2-2 record, as he has a 2.28 ERA and a great WHIP of 1.08 in 27.2 innings. He has also recorded 27 strikeouts, averaging nearly 1 K per inning. Burnett is now working on a string of 15 consecutive innings without allowing an earned run. Reynolds is also 2-2, but with a much higher ERA of 4.32 and a poor WHIP of 1.64. He got shelled the last time he faced Florida, allowing 7 earned runs and 10 hits in only 2.1 innings!
