I'm always in. I enjoyed the photo DT.
I looked at O'Hair, (I look at him every week), I looked at Weir and I am impressed at his record in this tournament. I looked at D. Johnson, the defending champion and top 5er from last week. I like all these guys, so does everyone else, no real value there.
Last week I took JB Holmes, 100-1 or more everywhere. He plays very well and this week he's down by half or more. What gives here?
It's going to be cold here, no doubt about it. Yes it's California, but this is Northern Cali. a whole other ball game here. This is Bay Area coastline weather, where it's cold most of the time and freezing the rest of the time. Guys that can play in the cold can play here. Japs, Koreans, Mid-west guys, these kind of players. Florida, Arizona, Vegas guys, not so much.
I'm going to bite the bullet, and go with Holmes again.
J B Holmes to win 46.00
I think Holmes is whacked. I think there is something wrong with him. Just a feeling I get. He can play though. Without looking it up, what do you know about this golfer? Not much I bet. I could have gotten 70-1 on Betfair. I hate getting ripped like this.

Holmes over Choi -110
Again, more with JB. Who did JB beat last week? Let's see, let me check that out. Oh yeah. I didn't have Holmes in a match-up last week, but if I did, I would have won. I had Couples, he won too. Choi. Wow. He's just not the player he was just a couple of years ago.
Choi used to be one of my favorite guys, he was good, you could count on him winning every year. I don't think so anymore. I think he's on the downside of his career, just like Els. When a really good player starts to not be a really good player anymore, you can get very good odds against him. I think Choi is maybe right there.
After the first tee ball is hit, and if there is ANY kind of delay, weather, whatever, that's it. No more betting from my book. For the whole rest of the tournament. That's why you hardly ever see me post after Thursday.
I think Choi has been first the past 2 weeks in GIR.. BOL on this play. Im still going over this Leishman vs Prugh play, as well as a couple others.
Dimes has it ..
Thu 2/11 125 Marc Leishman (Tourn) -103
11:44AM 126 Alex Prugh (Tourn) -107
for the reduced juice..
then for regular its
Thu 2/11 125 Marc Leishman (Tourn) -115
11:44AM 126 Alex Prugh (Tourn) -105
It's really confusing, why they would do this..
You know DT, I'd have to go with Leishman here. I realize that Prugh is setting the forrest on fire this year but..... this is the first look at ATT for Prugh, the second for Leishman. Leishman started off almost as good as Prugh. Marc is bigger than Alex, longer and stronger. It can matter if the wind is normal. If the wind blows hard though, it's a crapshoot. It's a hard call though.
Tournament Matchup
Goosen over Harrington -115 (Bet Jamaica)

Anyone with any updates on VJ?
First round matchup with Marino has marino at -120. VJ not playing well at all this year, Marino not great 1st tourney but played well last week and VJ not played in 4 weeks, any reason to think Marino won't win this 1st rd matchup? They are playing the new course, which to me negates VJ's nice history at this tourney.
