1st race: Nos. 5 and 6 are tied for top rated. Keying on no. 5 - has Mouch who is on his game here at A.C, good ITM turf record for the horse, and unlike so many others that race here -> You don't have to wonder how a long layoff will affect her. There's more that I like about this one as well.
Tries and zacks for me (only takes one good exotic to make me a winner for this A.C. meet) -> 5/6,7,8/1A,5,6,7,8 (ONE stinkin dollar ticks, ALWAYS, any track, for tries.) ... and ... zacks ($2 or more ticks) 6,7,8, OVER no. 5
2nd :VERLY, VERLY INTERLESTING WACE! IF Ferrer, who happens to always gets extra attention from me at any track, doesn't bring the favorite home then - this race should really light up the results board. BIG TIME! I'd LUV to spread aroundf a hundred bucks on exotics in this race, but that's suicide, ESP. for me on account of a poor record when I go overboard. Damn.
Gonna bet two horses in here that represent PLENTY of value.. nos. 7 and 8. Here's the exactas I got written down.... 7,8 top/bot 2,3,5,6. Either I play those or play BOTH the 7 and the 8 straight (maybe across?) kinda heavy.
That there, no. 7 is really of interest. Problem is there's always qustions to ask about almost every horse that runs at this place,"Will this Grade 2,3 competitor run like he did 3000+ miles away in sunny Cal. last year? If he does, he wins. Oh, and what about the vacation he just took? Nobody can answer these questions. Ooops, one mo - "How will he do on the turf?". Well, his breeding sez, "Just fine" so that might help. Sometimes I wonder why I decided to visit (through my cable modem) this track this year.
The no. 8? I think it's always worthwhile to give a "Danzig" hoss a good, long look when on the turf. There's more than just that to like about this horse too. You know, like 10/1 or higher f'rinstance.
4th: Ratings are all pretty close and that indicates a price and very competitive race. You know, a typical A.C. :00011 . Ratings are 4-6-5. No. 6, Sister's Friend, is the "now" horse who won 2 in a row in convincing style in it's last 2 races. I don't know about this one winning no. 3 in a row on a foreign track and on the turf... gonna throw this one out.
I'm thinking no. 1 with good early speed from the rail in this two turner, no. 4 with good jockey and a win at A.C., and maybe no. 7 who has a jockey that I always like when the odds are high.
After I see these, I may do a little 1 or 2 dollar mix and matching 4,5,6 and 1,4,7. BTW, I'm worried about the no. 10 upsetting everything in this race. SHEESH!
5th: :00011 Rated 1-5-2, with no. 1 getting much the best nos. Now, what about the ole question (for this place), "What about the 208 day vacation this one just took. These races don't get any easier. I got 5 top/bot w1,2,6,10,11.
Give TigerZ the credit for this nice, comprehensive, neat, .. .. ah, interesting post :mj07:
I took his compliments to heart and did my bestest with this one. Tellya, this won't last long though.
Now, git them dirt bombs hosses on the busses, get on the Turnpike, and head straight back to good ole PhilaDelPhia Wace Twack and do it fast. And check for any foxes the day BEFORE thems horses race. Danit!
Take it easy shelling out the noola at this race track even though i had a little more confidene on only one horse at this place so far and could kick myself in the ass for only putting TWO freakin dollars Win/Place on that $28 winnah on opening day. :chairshot
