Atlanta is HOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They are swinging the bats well and Milton hasn't been pitching well I like Maddux but I am also thinking of the over 8.5 the Twins score lots of runs at home they can put up at least 3-4 against Maddux in Minnesota. I see a 6-4 for the Braves.

Maddox left Texas early to make sure he was rested for tonights game. That according to the Braves announcers. Just FYI. GL

I like the Twins here myself. True Maddux got to Minny early but the rest of the team didn't. They were playing in the heat and humidity of Texas and probably got into the Twin Cities very late. But teams often need a game to get adjusted to artificial turf after they've been playing on grass. I realize Maddux could probably have a 3.00 ERA on Mars but he is a groundballer and could be negatively impacted by the harder surface.

Valuist...I probably wont play this game even though the Braves are playing their best ball of the year. Not sure they can win 6 in a row even with Maddux...however, as far as the astroturf goes, I would agree with you but if there is any grass close to turf, it would be Texas' field. Both Joe Morgan and Tony Gwynn have been quick to point out that they thought that particular field was harder than most turf fields. Just food for thought. Good Luck.

I would expect that Texas field to get harder and harder the further we get into summer. All that time Juan Gonzales and Pudge were out helped keep the team run numbers down a bit and with starters like Burba and Bell there should be value in playing them over for a while at home.
