A lot of evidence to support the Under (8) here.

Millwood has given up 2 ER or less in 6 straight starts. While the Braves have won the last 6 times Armas started against them, he gave up 1 ER or less in 4 of those 6 starts.

The Braves have been winning but other than Furcal, the bats have been silent. Chipper is 4 for his last 39 (.103)with 0 RBIs since June 24 and Andruw Jones is 5 for his last 46 (.109) with 1 RBI and no extra base hits since June 24. Sheffield is 5 for his last 21 and Franco is just 4 for his last 17.

Under playable at 8, but not if it hits 7.5.

Agree totally. The total has factored in the fact that Atlanta has not been hitting well.

Add to that two pitchers who are pitching well this year and total looks good at Under 8. At 8 to lose 9 runs need to be scored.
Smoltz i think is available which should be good for the Under.
Montreal closing is shaky but Atlanta bats should not make a lot of noise.

But at 7.5 not good value.

thats the only problem i have in going at the Under Total in the day games. Pitchers seem to have less control when its hot.

4 runs by Atlanta in the first .. unreal ..

just came back from lunch and saw the Ump stats for the Atlanta game .. Over in 4 of last 5 games with a push thrown in .. damn..

hope both teams find trouble scorin now .. hard to expect a lot but it has happened .. still does not void the fact that Atlanta bats are not hittin well ..
