So Cal
I will start off by admitting I'm a huge skins fan....
I have been blown away by rg3 so far....

I really think atl wins this game by 14+....but at the same time the line seems really low at atl-3
I kinda figured it would be more like -6

I'm about the bring out the big guns on this one

The secondary can't stop anything and ryan looks like the early mvp so far with his 2 stud wrs.

Imo this gets ugly but I get the feling this is a fishy
line at -3.

Anyone think the skins make a game of it?

i think the exact same thing.. i posted a thread about it being my big play this week.. i bought to -2.5 I see it as a falcons 14+ win myself.. I too am an RG3 fan, and have watched every game this year... they get a reality check this week :0074 as long as there isn't any funny business going on i think its free money

skins will make a game of it for sure, alfred morris and rg3 have been spectacular, garcon will have a big game--definitely have the crowd going...wash has a great chance to pull the upset imo---and i hate the skins

Agree!!!Any given Sunday. Atl 4-0 coming off a divisional game. Everybody wants to knock off the undefeated...This line tells it all..

this will be the toughest defense they have played yet, coupled with an explosive offense, i guess a good hedge here would be to take the over as well as the falcons... I cant see the falcons putting up less than 26, so split or scoop, can't really lose both :toast:

i hear you, but wash can run the ball, and we saw what can happen with a mobile qb and a quality running game as carolina "should" have put the game away...line is small for a reason i believe

honestly though, tb has atough def so i dont think they will be shell-shocked on atl agressive d

i personally see a 34-17 type game... with ATL capitalizing on a RG3 turnover or 2... im locked and loaded on ATL already with my largest bet of the season, might have to think about the over here too... opinions on total?

washington has 3 outta 4 overs this season  and the defense continues to get banged up, i think even if washington were to win or cover the over still makes it

i totally understand about no locks and what not.. this is my 8th season and ive done pretty good (5 winning seasons outta 7, and up fair amount to start this one), and hopefully you don't take my convo with you as aggressive or mean, just good sports banter with guys that have also been around the block or two.. im sure well agree one week, while we butt heads the next, one thing is for sure thou... hopefully by the end of the season we are both paying bills with our book's money :toast:

they are not a bad team...not bad at all....i think shanahan is getting the team where he wants it to be....

matter of fact,if they hadn`t lost orakpo and carriker last week(and merriwether before the tampa game on a freak accident),i`d be on the skins here......

this is a dangerous team as an underdog...

the ballgame hinges on whether they can control the atlanta wideouts and gonzales....appears to be a bad match-up for washington....

did moss get injured last week?....

i agree... redskins stock longterm wise going up.. and like i said im a RG3 fan and have watched them play every game this season.. had their defense not gotten struck by the injury bug they would be a legit threat to the league IMO... but with their current situation and the Falcons comin into town rolling... this could get ugly quick

So Cal
Skins offense has been a nice surprise thus far.
I really did not expect it...
I really thought the Defense would carry the team.
But injuries have struct my skins hard early on.
The defense has really regressed this year.
This secondary would make Tebow look like Elway.
And we all know Tebow is no Elway.
Wilson and Hall have been awful ....really just freaking awful. No threat at safety ,and a real piss poor nickle and dime defense..The secondary has allowed far too many big plays each week so far this season.
Brees lit them up which I guess is not a surpise
but Dalton , Bradford & Freeman are not really gonna
scare many Defensive Coordinators in the league.
I can be easily wrong on this statisticly but IMO all 3 of these QB's had there best games this season so far vs the Redskins. Now here comes the Falcons. Ryan has been fantastic thru 4 weeks.
White , Jones & Gonzales might all top 100yds+ and a TD in this game. This secondary has no chance to contain this aerial attack.

Home field is a huge advantage normally ...right?
The Redskins at home under Shanahan have been a nothing great 4-13 su and 6-9-2 ats...Atl under Smith
is 9-5 ats as a road favorite..not great but not bad either.

Like I said in my 1st post...I'm a huge Skins fan. I moved back to MD in 2009 so I have seen all of Shanahan's redskins games since he got here.
I have attended half of those games in person
And the rest from my 73 inch lcd in my man cave.
like I mentioned earlier here in the DMV it was the consensus that the defense was gonna be fairly competitive...as we have seen that's not the case.
I would like to think that I'm a very realistic fan. No delusion here fellas..before the season began I had the Skins winning 5 to 6 games and week 1 vs the saints was 1 of those games...
As a Skins fan ATL scares the heck out of me.
They have the ability to blow out my beloved Skins.

Last week vs Carolina ,Atl struggled at times keeping Ryan upright but those 2 teams know each other very well as members of the NFC South..
Carolina had 10 days to prepare for a foe they know well....and was coming off a embarrasment by the GMen on national TV and imo needed to prove to themselves they can compete with the big boys this season...

Different situation this time around....while the Skins
Are 2-0 vs the NFC south this season they just don't have what it takes to contain the weapons ATL has.

That is why I have decided to unload on ATL-3

Thanks for the input fellas

While I agree with your take on the game, it looks like
you disregard money management.
IMO a longterm successful punter flat bets 90% of the time and the other 10% might be a double.
Unloading or GOY status is dangerous. Good Luck
on your ROAD big bet.
