Used a little bit of capping and lot of what I wrote in my last reply in Saturday's thread. These are the picks and they're not in the order of preference:

1st. 4,7 are the picks, 8/5 and 6/1

2nd 1,4,9; odds are 7/2, 3/1, 8/1

3rd 2,5 odds are 4-1 and 10-1

That's what I'm up to .

Wrap up

Wrap up

Results look better than they actual played out cause EVERY pick listed was in the moola. They sure bet down that there no. 5, a wiener, in the 3rd didn't they? No. 9 in the 2nd didn't run ITM..er, cause he was scwatched :)

Notes on the rest of the day?

Lost the 4th.

Nailed the 5th exacta and it paid pretty good thanks to that there Spanish hoss (Hasta Luego). That no. 4 became the bestest bet of the day cause he looked best on paper AND in the prerace. Mouch riding him was just icing on the cake.
Just to share some thoughts - there are still some EXCELLENT trainers in good ole N.J. doing their thing since the days I used follow Monmouth and the N.J. circuit. The one's that should be paid some extra attention to in turf races are Sheppard and Lawrence (won this race); doesn't matter to me what their actual records are cause I'm sure these two know how to get turfers ready. Ferris is another trainer to watch in N.J.

Skipped the 5th

Got hammered a bit in the finale AGAIN. Gotta remember to keep the dang bets small at this track. There just ain't much to go by at all and the rewards/payoffs don't match the risk.

Oh, almost forgot - let an Edwin Rivera bomber slip through my fingers today. :0045
