In Auburn's opening game @ Temple,they took 40 3 point attempts hitting on 18 of them for a 81-78 victory.

Tonite the home opener vs. Furman.
Auburn will be bombs away again.

Auburn(-8)game.

I don't know a thing about Furman, but Auburn plays with a 4 guard line-up and has absolutely no size. A lot of folks transferred (4 contributors) when Eliis was fired. 3 Fresh got substantial minutes on Friday. Team suprisingly played Temple very close on the boards. Temple got up very big early (21 - 5), and then Auburn caught fire from behind the line. On an off night from behind the line, this team will struggle big time. No homecourt advantage at Auburn. There will be less than 4k at the game. Anyhow, just wanted to drop you some tidbits in case you weren't aware. Good Luck iwith what you play, I'll be pulling for Auburn...just not with my wallet!

I won to much on Auburn Friday to turn on them now.
I realize a team that lives by the 3 also dies by it.
I was at many Texas games during the Penders ERA .

I will take my chances on any team that can get off 40 3's in one game.Especially when playing Furman.

Auburn up 27-18 with 8 to go til half.
Furman is matching Auburn 3 for 3.

Furman is 5 for 5.
and Auburn is 3 for 4.

Furman can't keep that up.

Furman goes 6 for 7 from 3 point range in the first half.

They can't repeat that for the second half.

Auburn up just 1 at the break.

Auburn had a 14 point lead before Furman starting raining in 3's.

Auburn took 26 3's in the 1stH vs. Temple.
Tonite they are 3 for 5.
Where is that 4 guard lineup.

im following you on arkansas for the 2nd half. i ended up laying -1. couldnt get pick.

i think youre right - arkansas is too deep for emich. eagles didnt do a damn thing from the floor in the 1h. lots of pts on ft's. not sure if thats a good or bad thing.

my only concern is that heath, being a former mac coach at kent, might be reluctant to bury a former mac foe and might call dogs off to let emu sneak in the 2h backdoor.

but i think arkansas should build up a 23-25 pt lead and it wont matter.

This is the title game and they have a nice 5 days off before playing Gardner Webb.

They will leave everyone in.
