Getting this one this morning before it gets up over 10. Georgia's defense is tuuurrible. Between Auburn scoring everytime they have the ball and Run Defense shutting down Eley and King, I reallly don't see Murray being able to keep this one close himself. Green is raw, no denying that. But Fairley's footsteps are gonna be making it tough to sit back there and throw all day.

Game is also a clincher to go to Atlanta, just a little extra incentive to take care of business at home this weekend so a loss in Tuscaloosa would be meaningless.

IMO, a loss in Tuscaloosa will likely cost Auburn a trip to the BCS title game following TCU mauling of Utah.

Both assuming that Oregon will win out.

The next to games for TCU hurt them in the computers IMO. Auburn will lock up the SECC this weekend. And with another game against a top 25 team in the SECC that would give us what 6 or 7 wins against top 25 teams?

Computers love the SEC. There would have to be lots of TCU love in the human polls and lots of hate for Auburn for TCU or Boise to go to the NC over a 1-loss Auburn. Time will tell.

Really took the least important thing out of my post to point out..... as the Iron Bowl has no bearing on why I love Auburn -9.5 this weekend.

The only way TCU is getting in the NC game is for Oregon or Auburn to lose. Just don't see that happening right now. Past history shows even if Auburn loses to Bama, they will still win SEC and go to NC game. Auburn has to lose either two in conference or in the SEC championship game to be left out. Oregon just needs to lose once.

I for one will be pissed off if TCU-Boise play in a bowl game for the 3rd straight year. Give both of them a BCS bowl (SI has good matchups: lsu-boise in the sugar, tcu-wisky in rose). It's time to give these two teams some big dogs to play in bowl games and give this "they're just as good as other top-tier teams" argument a chance to gain some traction.

I mean nobody is forgetting the Boise-OU fiesta bowl just because it was such an awesome game, but that was years ago. Time to give them a "what have you done for me lately" chance to show what they can do against a conference champion. And Lord I hope it's not against Pitt (if they win the BE). I think IF AU/UO win out, it's obvious they get the nod. IF AU loses but wins the NC, I don't see how you can leave out the SECC just based on the SEC's recent run of winning NC's. We've got 4 in a row.

But TCU and Boise, if not in the NC should get the Big10/Big12 champ and the 2nd place SEC team.

But just about every gambling message board I've seen today has lots of people leaning on UGA early. I like it. Prob gonna wait and see what SEC Guru says on the game just because he came back with a vengeance last week before I make a play.

Also see a serious problem with Bama -14. I think that line is very high just based on national perception of those two teams. Mullen is making some noise in the SEC this year.

Well..you figure that this year, those two teams won't play each other (TCU-Boise). The team that's in 3rd place automatically plays in the Rose Bowl...right? No way they let those two teams play each other there.

i'm no bowl guru... but what i understood was that pac10-big10 winners are Rose. not so much the rankings that matter but those two conferences, with the exception being when one of them has a dog in the NC game, they get first choice on non-AQ schools. which would leave them to pick either a 2nd place team in the pac10 or their choice of Boise/TCU.

I could be wrong on the last part but pretty positive Rose is PAC/BIG, sugar is ACC/SEC, no clue about fiesta or orange
