Auburn and Clemson

Thoughts?

I believe its going to be a close game...
Our D will keep us in the game... and hopefully Cox will have a successful last game.

I think we get clipped though:shrug:

I agree....it should be very close. I originally thought that we (Clemson) would win but there are 2 concerns:
(1) Defense....all 3 starting LB's may be out for the game. 2 seniors (grade issues) and a junior got a DUI (the trial isn't until Jan)...we will know more in a week or so.
(2) Offense.....junior RB James Davis is toying with entering the draft and will see how he is used in this game. If we try to make him happy against a very good rushing D then it may be a long day.
Just my thoughts ...

i agree cutiger. Clemson looked like the favorite in Vegas' eyes but I am beginning to wonder if those players do not play what effect it will have on the line. looking like a real low scoring game IMO. I am hoping James Davis is used alot, but not at the expense of a Clemson loss. I am leaning to the under and Auburn plus the pts - - - if that line remains true. Good luck.

Clemson starting linebackers Nick Watkins and Tramaine Billie, and starting offensive tackle Christian Capote, have been ruled ineligible for the Chick-fil-A Bowl game against Auburn due to academic issues. I still think that we have enough talent at LB but it will be a close game.

Maybe head coaching but our assistants are top of the line except for Spence (Offensive Co-ordinator) who gets WAY too happy running screen passes for my liking. Auburn just fired their OC so their coaching staff has taken a hit as well.

Brandon Cox is a poor man's Matt Flynn and that is not saying a whole lot!!!
