I am a homer so regard this... :nono:

after watching us play against vandy and florida, i think we have finally gotten cox out of the spell he is in. Our run D is awesome but I think our secondary still needs some work... but its Arkansas... Do they pass the ball?

I know arkansas is at home... but I love the way Tubbs plays away games... +3 is outrageous... I think we win this game by at least 10

casey dick will have a LOT of trouble...

BUT... i think mcfadden and felix will give us problems

felix is averaging 10.5 yds w/ 60 carries

and dont even get me started on them blowing the lead against bama...

Arkansas threw 10 passes last year AT Auburn and won the game 27-10. You don't have to pass the ball that well if you can just run it down the other teams throat. Auburn is a finesse team that does well against teams like Florida, etc. but they don't do so well against smashmouth teams like Arkansas. The wolves are out in Arkansas and Houston Nutt knows he has to win this game at home. He's faired well against Auburn and Tuberville in his career. I think it's a bad match up and a bad time for Auburn. Remember, even though Auburn did look good against Florida and Vanderbilt, they are the same team that got dominated by another smashmouth team in Miss. State and another grind out team in South Florida. I like Arkansas -3.

Plus, Auburn has LSU on deck. I'm on Arky this week.

Gween!

im with you on auburn. i really thought the line would be a pk or even auburn -1 or -2.

about last year: auburn NEVER plays solid on JP (11:00) games....well maybe last week...but that was vandy. i also think auburns D is a little better this year. BUT groves will be out and maybe blackmon.

im still on auburn...and im still a homer too.

I like Arky in this matchup, but Tubberville's record on the road since he has been at Auburn is 22-1 or something like that. Anybody have his road record?

...I love Arkansas this week...basically a bye week for them last week...Auburn coming off a huge upset of Florida, and a thrashing of Vandy...an Arkansas win is in the script this week, I think.

already on Arkansas -2'

Tuberville has won seven straight SEC road games and 12 of his last 13

The last road loss for AU was at LSU in '05 losing 20-17 in OT. If yall can remember... all those missed FG's...

War Eagle. As long as it's not a 12 oclock game we should play ok... guys were half asleep last year when they played Arkie and slow end to end... Not the case the last couple... We're fast to the ball and our defense will key on McFadden making them throw. I'm just watching it though as an alumni.

Bosley took a few snaps, but not many," he said. "Quentin didn't practice. He's not ready to go. Blackmon took a few snaps. He's probably about 80 percent. Savage didn't practice."

Linebacker Merrill Johnson is also still limited by a bruised shoulder.

"(Johnson) took some snaps," said Tuberville. "In this game, a bruised shoulder, it's not the perfect game to come back in."

Tuberville was unsure how many of the injured starters would be on Auburn's 65-man travel roster.

"We always wait until we get through with the Thursday practice to see who can help, who didn't help, who we can count on. If they're not going to play, they won't go."

***Auburn has won 14 consecutive games in their white road uniforms.

***Auburn has a 9-6-1 series edge over Arkansas, including a 4-3 record in Fayetteville.
