ughh, probably a good spot for them to bounce back at home but they have been dastardly and losing the play on them this past week with a one dimensional lsu and losing badly, I am afraid to touch them at this point.

Auburn is terrible

Auburn is terrible

Auburn -3-

Thoughts?

Malzahn has tied this season to Jeremy Johnson and that is a mistake. Jeremy, while seemingly a good guy, is terrible when the lights come on. Auburn has no identity as a football team. Nothing to hang it's hat on. As I watched Alabama/Ole Miss Saturday I was so impressed with the fight I saw from both teams. I don't see that fight from Auburn. I get the feeling this team has given up on this QB. As long as Jeremy remains the starter you should lay the hammer on MSU +3. That's a gift. MSU wins outright.

He reminds me of driskel, great in practice but horrible bone headed decisions when the lights come on!

Auburn is screwed up, from the coaches to the players.......this will be a must win for both teams, I am not putting a nickle on it as it could go both ways. Just no clue brother.

Auburn is starting Sean White this week. What can we expect?

Auburn has more problems than just the QB...Johnson has not played well but the defense has been pathetic too...The QB will be the scapegoat for this year just like the DC Ellis Johnson was last year...Auburn went out and spent close to $2 million a year for Muschamp and the defense is still horrific..The common denominator for last year and this year is Malzahn and his coaching staff...Auburn should have lost to Jacksonville State this year and letting Duke Williams come back to the team may have been a BIG mistake by Malzahn for chemistry reasons..

It's just a rumor at this point. But if this happened, then the coaching staff has to get this team under control.

As for the line - I wouldn't touch the game with a 10 foot pole

As for the fight - I hope to god Duke beat the hell out of Johnson. He plays like a pussy who is scared to death to take a hit. You're 6'4" 240 the fuck is wrong with you

As for the defense - No way in hell you can put this on Muschamp. Ellis Johnson recruited a ton of small, fast guys at DE and LB for his 4-2-5 and it showed when they went up against a power run team in baton rouge. Not only that but the player that everyone said all off-season was gonna be the difference maker, Glass Joe Lawson, has only played 30 minutes of football and is apparently out for the season with an injury that normally occurs in nursing homes. Everyone had hoped that Byron Cowart could come in and be a good backup but a TrFr in the SEC just doesn't happen that often on the DL. Our DTs are good but LSU just played to our weakness at DE and ran off tackle and it was Fournette vs. 190lb defensive backs all day. We also probably have the youngest secondary in the country. 2-3 True Freshmen are getting a lot of snaps due to injuries back there.

As for the QB - at this point if we have someone that throws the ball forward, as opposed to 20 yards backwards :142smilie we'll be taking steps in the right direction. White looked better than Johnson in the last 2 spring games (take into account the defenses he was against) and looks like a game manager type QB. Everyone I know is cautiously optimistic that the team will play with a little more heart now that we don't have a gutless choke artist taking snaps. Watching Johnson on the sidelines moping around showing zero emotion after making huge mistakes had to have affected them. I know it pissed off the majority of our fanbase.

Yes I'm really bitter about that game saturday. NOLA and Baton Rouge were a great time last weekend but I've never been more embarrassed in a stadium in my life... including 2012 and 2008.

If anything I would wait and see what the MSU team total is and probably take the over if I were wanting to back MSU this week. Mobile QBs have and will continue to kill us. Dak will probably read option us to death. And we can't seal the edge to save our lives without Lawson on the field.

Tell me about this young QB.

You hear all this crap about how he performed in the under armor games.....bs bs bs......You have Dak and he is battle tested, who knows if this kid is the real deal or not? I just know that this has always been the rubber game for our two programs. Who ever wins goes on to have a good season. Hat bet, bro, I am not sporting no Miss St Avatar

looks like a set up to me. How in the world is MSU an underdog to this train wreck in Auburn. I know MSU is down this year from last year but Auburn is awful. I would stay away from this one. just look s like a setup to me.

I think Vegas has a hard time predicting our coach's level of retardation. They were dead wrong by a decent amount on lots of 2013 games. Could be this year they over-value AU and we'll be a great team to fade

I know ive called this Aub team the most overrated in cfb since the preseason polls were released , but their chances of upending miss st at home have increased with the change at qb.....By all accounts, White can throw the football. Not sure about his mobility, but JJ is not a fluid runner anyway imo. The long TD run vs lsu was a fluke triggered a terrible angle by free safety. JJ made so many obviously bad reads in the passing game in the 6 quarters of aub football I've watched, that I'm surprused they didn't throw White out there in the 2nd half last week. The defensive injuries cant be overlooked, but i Won't be surprised if this team rallies around white. Was leaning miss st when JJ was the starter , but thinking no play at this point.
