This game was posted at or near a Pick in the beginning. This line has moved at least to -3 and in some places as high as -4. As posted in another thread, Auburn has received a ton of good press this off-season.

My question for this thread is if the oddsmakers felt this game was a PE when they hung the number, why is it moving so much? Is public money all over Auburn? Can this work to our advantage by taking USC?

Any opinions?

Just a few thoughts... This game is the first REAL big game of the year. Two legit top ten teams squaring off the first weekend of the year. I can't remember any game meaning so much for both teams so early in the year. Why is the line moving up with not much news out. I think revenge will play a big part in this game. Don't think that Auburn has forgot the beating they took in Socal last year. You can through the weather arguement out the window. It will be hot for both teams. What is the most important position on the field? QB right? Number of college games started? USC=0, Auburn=14. Mark it down this will be the most imporant factor in the game.

...the way I see it, if the line is over a fg, then I'd have to take USC or pass; however, I'll probably pass, as I generally don't like playing the large conferences, especially this early in the season.

...don't know where they hung the total, but I'd think this would be a low scoring affair.
