I got in touch with Augur today to see what was up. Seems he's been having some health problems, and has not been up to capping lately. It's amazing how prolific he is, and how consistently well he does, at his age. I only hope I am as clear-minded and consistent when I am in my 70's, and hopefully winning more games than I am now. He's a true inspiration in that it gets better with age.

Augur said to say hello to everyone and that he would be back very soon.

I PRAY I am cappin my 70's!!!! Get well Augur!!!!

Scenerio: Kids and their wives/sons/grandkids come over for sunday dinner.

1st grandkid:" Augur, what have you been up too?"
2nd grandkid:" yeah Augur, we missed you!"

Augur glances over to the kitchen table FILLED with capping papers.

son/daughter:" Dad, let me clear the table!:
Augur:"NO! Leave that there! I"m....uh......reading the sports section!"

1st grandkid:"Augur, I do not see any food coupons here!"
2nd grandkid: (Elbows 1st grandkid and says)" If he can cap games the way he does, WHO THE FUK NEEDS COUPONS?!?!"

LOL!!!!!!!!!! :D :D :D :D

Thank you ALL for the kind words and best wishes ....docs are doing their best for me here ...am in good hands ...they now know what the problem is just not sure what to do about it yet ....my last tests show what its not ....but not exactly what it is LOL .....will be going to a specialist tomorrow for more tests ....WILL be back as soon as i get this thing whipped ....and wishes you ALL the best ....your friend ...Augur

Augur, I have been away and had no idea that you've been sick. Sending you my very best wishes and prayers for your improved health. You are an incredible person, a dear friend and a tremendous handicapper...it isn't the same without you. Get well soon, my friend...I need the help..lol :sadwave:
