PARRKAVELI - Sneaky speed on this one. He'll probably be stalking ponies on the back side, then demolish them down the stretch. A thoroughbred coming back this quickly after a sharp effort is a good sign. A repeat of that most recent race on July 13th where he recorded a fig of 72 looks strong enough to score in this race. VALID STORM - This gelding is in fine physical condition, having run a strong race on July 20th, finishing third. When this jockey and trainer combine forces you have to take a look. Doyle and Gulick have been fabulous together. Maiden is switching to the dirt, and may not have liked the turf last out. Has a good chance to win for the first time.

RICHIESONARAMPAGE - This gelding registered a fig in his last event which probably isn't good enough in today's race. MUSKET HUNTER - Hasn't hit the board in any short distance affairs lately. Doubtful to see him doing it this time either. Don't feel this horse will make a winning move in today's event. That last speed figure was common when compared with today's class rating.
