Just a heads up mate. Geelong are the 'home' listed team but they are in fact playing at the 'Telstra Dome' here in Melbourne city. It's a stadium that a lot of Melbourne based teams call 'home'. There has been a lot of ground 'rationalisation' going on over the last 10-15 years here in Melbourne. So many clubs couldn't afford the upkeep of their own 'club grounds' that now most of them use either Telstra Dome or the M.C.G as their 'home ground'.
Geelong, which is a smaller city south west of Melbourne, do in fact still have their own home ground in Geelong called Skilled Stadium. They are one of the few clubs that still do hold a significant 'home ground advantage'. It's just not going to be the case in tonights game.
Geelong are 2 wins clear in front on the ladder and have won their last 10 in a row (My Roos were in fact the last team to beat them!! :00hour ). But they haven't won 11 in a row since the 1950's so perhaps history is going against them tonight?! They certainly are on fire at the moment but this game against the Bulldogs, I feel, is definitely a 'danger game'. The Bulldogs are playing for their season more than the Cats, which can afford to drop one.
Good luck with it bro. Just wanted to let you know that the 'home advantage' isn't actually there. I do hope it hits for ya mate anyways. I see you go ok at the AFL. :thumb:
