In Austin this weekend for the Longhorns game. anyone have any suggestions on bars to go to on 6th street?

I haven't been to 6th street in awhile, so no suggestions there. I can tell you that the view and food is good at Bikinis Sports bar, if you find yourself looking for a place to eat. :SIB
Terrific burgers, fries and hot wings at Casino El Camino. Hard to find any bar in the country better for this type of food:00hour
I go there first to eat and relax bit (food takes a while to cook, and burgers always medium unless you specify). Then just stroll up 6th and see what sounds/looks good.

Depends on your age... I wouldnt go to 6th street if I were you, maybe take a stroll by but it is young fratty and/or ghetto depending where you make it to. I would say blind pig is probably the best down there.
I like to go to west 6th street which is further down. The Ranch is supposed to be really good. 4th and 5th street are also very good
