At long last, the return of Formula One :D

Last year's ytd:

Qualifying: 53-15; +68.95 units
Race: 31-16; +25.50 units

Qualifying matchups are where I've made the money in this sport. Race matchups are profitable, but there are too many things outside the control of the drivers to be completely confident about these types of plays.

I only post qualifying matchup plays after the final practise session. Tonight I will be posting my qualifying plays between midnight and 1am ET.

Qualifying starts at 2am ET and the best site to follow F1 live is www.f1-live.com.

Some thoughts on books who have/will cover qualifying matchups:

Bet365(usa) - did have them yesterday and will probably return after final practise
SIA - currently have qualifying matchups available (66-cent lines though!)
WSEX - did have them last year; have not seen them so far this week
GCS - did have them last year; will almost certainly not have them this year
BetRoyal - did have them last year; have not seen them so far this week
SportingOdds - currently have qualifying matchups available
Centrebet - currently have qualifying matchups available
Easybets - have qualifying matchups listed as will be available
Olympic - did have them last year; did see that they 3-way matchups available yesterday though nothing at the moment

If anyone comes across any other books offering qualifying matchups, please post them here.

Good luck everone.

I'll be back later tonight ;)

i noticed that u have listed several books ,but most of them are Aussy books or english based books.

I use oly alot, and really like them. but when i went to these other books i noticed that the wager in pounds i guess,

how do they operate with US currency, do they convert it or do they just keep it at that US value. Also i noticed tht 1837 said tht some do not take us customers is that true?

btw i love indy, i mean cart i have hated what they have done with the IRL in the past few years, i was rasied in Kokomo IN
about 60 miles north of Indianapolis , in my opinion the true place for racing.

but u guys have me intrigued with htis f1 stuff again thank u all for the support u offer everyone on this site, i will try to bring up a few things myself if i think i see value.

the first one i think might be worth a look is (i mean was) centrebet took down thier f1 stuff once practice started. but the one i did see that looked good was-

HEIDFELD vs. FISICHELLA @ 1.50

which to me if i understand their betting policy is -200 to me. basically a 50% return if i have that right.

HEIDFELD vs. (VILLENEUVE or TRULLI)@ 1.50

At any rate i think that HEIDFELD will do well againest either one of those guys.

You have it right Padre but it was at 1.80 (-125) with Centrebet earlier on. Don't worry about Cart, we do cart racing here!:) I will post a write up next week. The season is starting in Mexico very soon!

About your books, the place that don't accept canadian customers (and american i think) is a sort of interactive market where you offer or buy a wager from someone. Anyhow the european sportsbooks (as we are used to) usually accept americans or canadians customers. You just have to deposit with the currency you want and that's it! As far as books from here, we had much more choice last year but i think we kicked their ass too hard:moon: :thefinger so the remaining are WSEX, OLY, SIA and ... maybe another one but not as much...

Hope it helps and see you in Cart next week!

Ooops!

Will be posting plays between 7pm and 8pm ET - was thinking UK time

It's almost time ...

Padre, of the books I lised two are British books though Bet365usa.com has signed up with Neteller and PayPal and is targetting the North American market. Just one is an Aussie book and doesn't allow Americans to sign up with them.

Not a lot of offerings at the moment, sure hope it changes in the next few hours.

practices are over and qualifying in 2 hours... Let's see some lines PLEASE!!!!!! :) The only think i don't like is that the end of the last practice was with heavy rain. How the track will be within 120 minutes? How will the weather affect our picks?

Finnish tv-commentator JJ Lehto told that he spoke to tyre engineers
and they said Bridgestone tyres works better than Michelin when
temps are low, and looks like there is damp and cold track at qual.

Can only find the 2 qualifying matchups at Bet365USA.com available at the moment.

So,

Michael Schumacher to win pole +100 @ Tattsbet [1 unit]

(Won't take less than +100 even tough the projected rain should favor the German)

More when lines available.
