Auto Insurance Update

Just got my auto insurance renewal. It went from $1500 annually to almost $2100. So I decided to do some shopping. The best deal I could find for apples to apples coverage was through Progressive for $1300. Any thoughts?

Broad Form collision coverage pays to repair your car regardless of fault. If you are more than 50% at-fault, you must pay a deductible. If you are 50% or less at-fault, you pay nothing.

Morris, in NY State, we call it excess liability coverage. 100,000/300,000 is common. It protects you from losing your home in case of a catostrophic accident.

In the Boys state of Michigan, they dont have to pay their deductible if they are found to be less than 50% at fault in an accident. Thats Broad Form and I believe unique to the state of Michigan.
