I haver a 1992 Jeep Wrangler renegade with 130,000 miles on it. I'm the original owner. The body is in awesome shape and the engine is still strong. I have a crack in my exhaust manifold and have noticed it for about 2-3 months now. You can hear that the car is louder due to this crack but nothing that is too bothersome. It's gonna be @ $500-600 to fix. A good chunk of change for a car this old. My question is this- If I keep driving the Jeep with this crack in the manifold will I be doing any damaged to my car that I might regret?

Thanks for all opinions.

The leak will get bigger and so will the noise. It shoudn't hurt anything for awhile.
Try getting a used manifold from a junkyard and get someone to put it on should be cheaper

yeah, i doubt its gonna do any sort of real damage... maybe melt a wire or two but thats about it... but changing a manifold on a jeep isnt worth 5-600... .find a friend who's even slightly mechanically inclined and get them to do it... way easier and cheaper
