Kysas I'll be in Mexico City for 7 days next week and then to Miacatlan for 15 days to an orphanage to provide dental care to the children there (Nuestros Pequenos Hermanos). Is there anything in particular I should see in Mexico City, and will there be any soccer games going on in the capital while I am there next week (July 25-Aug 1)?? I am a big soccer fan.
I will do my research about the soccer games, but Mexico City is a big city full of folklore, I love that city, but tell me more especific what do you like to do and how many and what days you will be exactly in the "DF"
Unfortunately my time in mexico city is limited, I will be there for 1 full week, sun-sat. I will be working with some dentists down there at the hospitals during business hours. The weekends are ours to do whatever. I like everything...i'm assuming we will head to the pyramids, i'd like to check out some museums, cathedrals, nightlife etc. One girl who is going with us is from South America and has some friends in m.c. so i think they will be taking us out at night.
In summer, the "DF" is very rainy, the nightlife is really great!! a lot of options, you can go to everykind of places I thought that will be a consensus choice, but you should go to "El Zocalo", "La Basilica de Guadalupe" and also "Coyoacan", that folklore is what I am talking about , I have some family there, my aunt who is a Dentinst and her housband is a Doctor with an especiality in anesthesia (i do not know who to write in english anesthesiology ??), and in the other side my uncle and aunt are bussiness man/woman and teachers or universities! , whatever you want let me know and I will tell you if I can help you
