They kept hyping the final episode of Average Joe that the girl had a secret from her past. Then after she picks the goof, actually one of the "studs," that she wants to spend her life with she tells him her secret. The secret was that she dated Fabio. Upon hearing this the guy who won the contest couldn't pack up his designer clothes and get out of town fast enough. What am I missing here? What is wrong with having dated Fabio?

I sure am glad my wife forgot that show was on last night! I was spared one night from reality TV!!

I didn't get it either. He said any normal guy would have had
the same reaction.
Unless he thought Fabio was gay.
On the last episode she asked him what he wanted to
get out of this experience and he answered a acting career.
I think that should have told her he may not be a life partner.
The average joe from Boston was heart broken.
I was surprised she even let this guy kiss her.
It really is a reality show for him. Like he ever had a chance.
At least she didnt win a million bucks.

I find it strange that these people can claim to fall in love after a few dates with the cameras on. But I couldn't figure out the Fabio angle. I don't think he was expecting her to be a virgin and unless Fabio has aids I don't see why it was portrayed as a dark secret from her past and why the "winner" took off so fast. Glad to know I wasn't the only one confused by it.
Yes, the Boston guy seemed to be really broken hearted. As did the guy from Cleveland a couple of shows back who spied on her and saw her making out with one of her dates. He was so shook up he eliminated himself from the competition.

My best friend and best man in my wedding dated her for almost 2 years before they broke up after she moved to LA to pursue acting, or whatever. He used to live in St. Louis and dated her when she was Ms. Missouri. She made him promise not to tell anyone she dated Fabio, and he made me promise not to tell anyone either. Didn't want it to get out for the show I guess. My buddy Mike still talks to her a lot, and helps her with her website www.larissameeks.com She definately is hot though, and she is a cool gal from what I hear, but I have never met her. He told me that Fabio wanted to marry her, but she didn't want to marry him.

I agree Scott - she should have never picked him specifically after the comment about acting.......
