How does it feel to be in the minority not counting USC as National Championions? You and rest of your friends can think that all you want. USC and LSU were both National Champions and the majority of media and nation felt USC was the best team in the nation last year.

Every team fears playing in the SEC. 3 teams at the bottom of the conference that cannot beat anybody execpt themselves. SEC is the epitomy of a conference having bottome dwellers. I also do not think teams fear playing Div. 2 schools and horrible div. 1a teams for an OOC schedule. NOBODY in the SEC is beat come into conference play. Let me pull out my calculator. 3+3= 6 wins!!! I agree that the SEC is a top heavy conference with some elite teams but a typical SEC schedule is not very tough. USC schedule this year sorta resembles an SEC type schedule. Not very common for USC who usually plays some of the toughest schedules. However USC does open their season on the road vs V-Tech!!!! Not easy, but I am sure you respect an SEC team blowing out their opening game at home against CITADEL!!!! :lol2
SO no, I do not think for one second USC would fear playing in the mighty SEC. 9 of the 10 PAc 10 teams have played tougher SOS than the WHOLE SEC CONFERENCE from the years 1990-2003. SO NO PAC 10 team would be worried playing in the SEC. In fact, it would get more Pac 10 teams ranked in the top 25. 90% of the Pac 10 conference has won the conferece title, I "think" only 33% of the SEC has won the conference title in the SEC. What is wrong with the other 8 teams??? :lol2

the thing is if usc were in the sec they would have to play every week in and out consistently with teams that are just as big as them and have secondaries that can minimize williams productivity. they would get more banged up and the league would take a toll on them as they are not as physically equipped as those teams that year in and year out get the pounding that sec football brings.
