missed a huuuge win by these 2 tms only managing 5 pts in final 2 mins!!

Un-frigginbelievable!

hit the 2nd half over and parlay, hit Ariz side, wouldve hit the over if they score 1 more pt, and 2 more pts... fukn fluctuating lines lol

also, have a 3tm parlay... Ariz/Ariz Ov 139/Fla St +7.5 >> 250/914... now drops to about 250/460... keeerappp! grrrr

forward and onward :D I'm over it.... :toast:

why did Jordan Hamilton call a timeout immediately after rebounding the ball? 80% FT shooter should want them to foul him..... chicken shit is my best guess

the 5 second call was late in the game.. these guys should've made a few more pts in the last few mins...

Player of the year missing how many ft's? too many..

It's another in a series of heartbreaking, frustrating losses... ck w/pro190, he's lost a ton of 1st half plays on last second bullchit too.

Better luck guys:0074

"the bunker"
reffing is the main reason why i stopped betting basketball years ago....too f`ing subjective.....

they can do anything they want....call anything they want anytime they want....they can call minor contact and ignore one guy bludgeoning another....they can ignore an obvious walk or pull one out of their asses........

the charging rule?...utterly ridiculous.....guys sliiding in front of other guys and the refs making a call on whether they had "position"?...that call should always be a blocking foul unless a guy is standing there for a full second or two....it`s worse than these soccer guys throwing themsellves on the ground...

that 5 second call at the end of that game?..i was laughing out loud when the guy called that.....how do you make that call when it`s that close potentially changing the game`s outcome?.....

the whole thing is a chinese fire drill...

every sport`s refs have to make SOME subjective calls during a game....in basketball, the whole game is predicated on it...

it`s rife for corruption or favoritism or whatever you want to call it....

best thing i ever did....i don`t need to waste the blood pressure points...plenty of other stuff to wager on where you get a much fairer shake...

gweasel, yeah the reffing can be screwy, and this game not only had the 5-second call but the "no foul" call at the end of the game...

couldn't really tell if it happened before the end of the game, but there was definitely a foul on Arizona on the rebound 'follow-shot'..

1 ft sends it to overtime, 2 and it's an "over".. either would have workd for me...

they should rotate some of these refs that mess up OUT of the tournament, it's bad enuf they screw up their own leagues yr after yr, there's alot of politics involved in reffing assignments...

check out "chubb-a-bunga's" thread from yesterday about the guy from the SEC _ he's a pompous ass and a joke... AND he's in the tourney year after year... whatta joke!
Huskies got screwed y-day.. on time left at end of game.

and yes, there was some stress involved lol :mj07:
but, I've been around it for awhile so I don't let it get me too riled up, don't throw things etc, just try to laugh when possible :0002

baseball comin up in a week :0074

So. Cal
in the end, the right team won.

barnes made the bonehead decision to call timeout after a rebound with 12 secs left and texas got a TON of bs calls the entire second half.....heck, at one point i thought the tex point guard was michael jordan; look at him the wrong way and the whistle blew everytime down the court.

as for the final off rebound.....dont even think there was much if any contact and/or it was after the game ended.....good no call.

:00hour

now, fuck duke!

i don`t think it`s just the refs...i think it`s the innate nature of the game...it`s set up so the refs totally control the game from tap to tap....

they can put a team in foul trouble and take them out of the game... foul important guys to make them basically useless...or foul them out....

they control everything...the only thing more ridiculous, imo, was watching int`l soccer teams forced to play a man short....for the rest of the game...throw a guy out but allow him to be replaced ...make em play short for a period of time....but the whiole reat of a game?....that`s ridiculous...

can you imagine an nfl defense being forced to play a man short for an entire game?...a baseball or basketball team?.....

too much f-cking power for the officials...i don`t profess to know how it could be chamged..but it`s a bad "gambling' sport for that reason...

just one man`s crazy opinion..
