Only bright spot was when key horse #3 Sassy Hound was scratched in race 2 reducing loss in tri's to $86 and W/P to $80.
2nd year in row without cashing a tri.
In W/P best could do was two 3rds Caller One and Timoroa.
In Matchups they spit picking up some change as Left Bank edged out Delaware Township.
Not a very productive day to the wallet but definately got $150 worth of entertainment.My most favorite wagering event of the year.

wow. although it was my least favorite host track in 4 yrs(seating was extremely limited for us general admission folks), the races were amazing. had several near misses on pick 3s. lost overall but finally wised up on how to play there.
i hit wp bets on banks hill, johannasurg and tiznow(never expected to find those odds on him) and a show bet on albert the great. the only exotic a hit was the 2nd race exacta which i had 5x. lost a little under $100 on the day but in the future.
i had the winners in the 5th, 7th, 8th, 9th and 10th but didn't play some (5th(stupid) or 9th(odds)) to win. i played all in the exotics but couldn't hit.(had i known tiznow would have such nice odds, i would have included him in my pick 3 and i forgot to bet the pick 3 in the 7th which cost me almost $300). from now on, it is pick 3s and exacta wheels. i have determined the it is virtually impossible to pick the 2nd horse in these races so i will take the horses i like to win and wheel them w/all the horses in the exactas. the payouts are so good it would be difficult to get burnt. i might double up on something i like to get a little more out but that will be my wagering stradegy for next yr.
btw, where is it next yr. i am guessing cali as it is overdur out there.
