My point is, there's no validity in using a paintbrush to try to pigeon-hole an entire group of people. People by nature have different realities that have been formed by years of influences - no two people are alike. Liberals are different, have different views, some more open, some more closed. You don't have to agree - no big deal.
People on both sides of the fence are different. Some are more willing to be open-minded than others. Neither side of the aisle - or those in between - can be labeled as completely open- or closed-minded. Some people in those groups certainly can.
And I don't think anyone here or elsewhere can truly entertain ideas about politics or life in general without having some kind of bias enter into their thinking. I don't think that's truly a realistic expectation.
