Great to be back, but I have not focussed on hockey much so far as College Football is still front and central. Still 2 plays jump out at me, here we go.
Ott. will be starting Lalime in nets tonight and the Coyotes are going with Burke after they rested him last night when Boucher played against Columbus. Strange scheduling for the Sens as they don't play after tonight for 8 days. All of the players have been stating how important it will be to get the win tonight going into a long break at such a weird time of year. Phoenix overachieved last year and are now coming off a road win last night and did not arrive in Ott. until 3am. I look for the Sens to win by 2 or more goals. No lean to the total as the Coyotes should be a tired group and could allow the Sens to get a few early goals which would send the total over in a hurry.
Really like the NYR in this spot tonight. To top it off, D McCabe is out tonight for the Leafs who is their best D and they are already weak on D. Looks like Kidd will be in nets again and if he keeps allowing weak backhanded goals from the top of the faceoff circle like he did last night the NYR will have their way with him.
Playing:
Ott. -.5(-150)
NYR - PK.(-135)
GL tonight!
