Cant wait to read what I missed. Let em tell you, I dont think I have ever encountered more arrogant jerks than USC fans. Some very nice ones too though. I wonder some things though....

1. I thought Pete Carroll was a defensive genius?

2. I thought Vince Young was a bad quarterback?

3. I thought Texas ran a high school offense?

4. Yada...Yada..Yada

Can we all at least agree no0w the wrong guygot he Heisman.

Congrats to the National Champs. Baseball. Football, now time to get the hoops boys on a roll.

I have read most of the posts until I just had to quit. I like the halftime bet - I dont know of anyone who coulod get a cell signal at anytime last night.

P.S. If Pete Carroll and Charlie Weis each get a monbth to prepare ,who wins?

Coming from you gjn that means...ughhh...nothing. All I did was ask about what other people...loike uggh...you posted on this site. You talk more smack than anyone and do it by latching on to everyone else's team. Sorry you lost your big bet last night.

if they played again, i'd lay 7 again

its the first game in 3 years where i didnt see sc close, where i didnt see sc win the turnover battle (the fumbles and ints were there) and where i saw sc blow 4 scoring chances coming away with nothing

I was thinking about that as I was reading his post. I have been to a lot of College games in the last 15 years since I have had a cell ohone, and at every good one, you absolutely CANT get a signal at half. At great ones, you cant get a signal anytime. Not just my service either, other friends phones could NEVER get a signal.

I would have loved to see the hole he would have had to get to at halftime to yell out his account number, password, and bet to a person that barely speaks english, during the (IMO) busiest halftime of the year for a big book like Pinny. I would think that it would have been too loud. I would have logged onto the internet on my phone and placed a bet in that situation.

I wonder if the almighty IE or Jack himself could find out how many bets were taken by Pinny at the half? It would be interesting to see how high the number is.

i saw sc play vince young.....they would likely never stop him if they played 10 times....but sc offense would play much better and more efficiently in those other 9 games and out score texas

however....they only play one time and texas won the game

one thing that still bothers me (and it likely doesnt change the outcome)....how in the hell do they not review the td where young's knee hit the ground and possibly pitched the ball forward????? a complete sham if they dont take the time to even LOOK at that play

Their monitor had a failure. By thye time they saw the replay Texas had kicked the xp. It isnt as if there is any reason to think Texas wouldnt have scored anyway. And what about the non-reviewed interception before halftime?

Lots of bad officiating both ways last night.

sure texas probably would have scored.....or they could have put the ball on the gound like the did about 4-5 times and possibly lost this one.......

point is, if the system isnt gonna be used correctly then get rid of it.......i saw it live and saw the replay 3-4 times before the pat.....major problems with the replay system in the bowl games this year...not to mention the officiating.....horrible.

I was at the game and i was able to make calls before, during and yes even at halftime (I use Cingular). I can not comment on wheather he made the bet but I know a few people I was with that laid alot on SC and the under at the half and got smoked. But who cares Texas won and SC lost. I am a SC fan and I do NOT understand why everyone is debating this, Texas won 41 to 38 PERIOD! Move on we got 4 great NFL games this weekend and I know that any bet I did or did not place on the Rose Bowl has been gaded and no amount of BITCHING is going to change the results. Congats to the Longhorns!

none of the nfl games will come close to last nights game

i smell a bunch of field goals, tons of commercials, and the clock ticking endlessly while qb's stare at the sidelines waiting for the next play call from the coach who is staring at the "how conservative can i be" playsheet.

I have some bias because Texas won, but as a 40 year old I can say I have never seen a finer football game. The 17 minutes of 1974 USC-ND will always hold a special place, but there isnt going to be an NFL game to even sniff the jock of last night.

On a side note, can someone explain to me why Petros Papadakis has a tv and/or radio show? Fat, slobbering homer with lazy eye was just painful. What exactly is his value?

I mean this sincerely Sun Tzu. Glad your team won!

Also, nice you can provide an example of how to celebrate your team's win, with a post, discounting all the pre-game USC banter, without ARROGANTLY RUBBING SCOTT"S LOSS in his face. Too bad some other Texas fans dont have the class to do the same.

Your team beat his, simple as that, no need for some of the other BS i'm reading

As to his bet, if he hedged or not, leave the fukkin guy alone! christ

"Pete you should have burned a TO like I did."

---- Signed Lloyd Carr

Bottom line is that crew sucked.Tons of mistakes: Not reviewing the potential INT late in the 1st H by Texas. Needing to review a obvious INT by Texas.
Did anyone else even notice the play with 6:00 minutes left where Texas completed a pas and went out of bounds down by 12.
The ref came running in with the roll the clock arm and so they did. That wound up hurting USC in the end,not Texas.

Sad that great game had such horrible refs.
USC fans dont sweat it, March Madness is right around the corner and you are loaded. :s2:

What do you mean...He touts USC, is so very one sided, and his dad host NCAA violating dinners for recruits.

Oh and he does have a lazy eye!

Try living in LA, with petros and the possiblity of running into Scott! :s4:

Ptros does Fox Sports West's college football games on Saturday nights, which are normally Pac-10 and he compairs every team every game to USC.

I wish lived elswhere!
