Hey Penguin.....just got up and heading to a hospital for the 11-7 staff inservice when I read this post. How in the world can you say that you cannot attend the golf outing because"you can't get off work and hoping for upward mobility" when you are looking at changing companies????:shrug: Sounds to me like you are a little timid to meet up with the Agent man. Too funny.Once Agent was in for sure, you backed out as quick as you could. Come on man, use your flight vouchers and get there since you are leaving your company! When you are approached by a competitor who comes offering money and a better position you consider what he has to offer, it isn't that hard to figure out :shrug:

I work in a highly competitive business. Basically you are calling me a coward here for no reason.

I may have to rethink my position on Agent though, I find it truly amazing how big his nuts must be for not only RollTide and Capt. Morgan to ride them, but you as well apparently.

Ditto here Jack --had a couple of assualt charges back in the 80's/90/s--both dismissed without predjudice and still on record.

Man DTB and Jack, that has got to be gut wrenching to be guilty even when proven innocent. Really sucks. Penguin, just was hoping you'd find a way to get there, that's all. If you TRULY wanted to you would have found a way. Your industry works the weekends as well? By the way, congrats on resigning your MVP for a long term deal. He truly is a talent and will be fun to watch for some time. And, I don't even know Agent, will meet him this weekend for the first time.

I was going to hire a guy for a position in the company. He was on his final interview when I get 'the call'

During background check , he had lied on his app., he had not got a B.S degree from college.

He was 6 credits short and was taking night courses to complete. He didn't think company would find out in time....

It does. A no lo contendere plea is useful to prevent an admission from being used in subsequent cases.

Was silly stuff--Clint had pretty good take-
One was back in my drinking days--with a couple of camel jockys--I was probably more quilty than them as if had not been drinking issue would have been averted--

The2nd was after I quit drinking the hard stuff and was totally inocent on matter--in fact happen because of other persons drinking. I gave him plenty of opp to let it rest--but when he stuck finger in chest and called me a f-ing pussy--I had no choice but to clock him.--found out later he had long history of sueing people--also found out he had bad habit of not filing tax returns
