I think I suffered my worst loss of all time last night. Not $ wise just...."How the hell is that possible?"

I took Maclin over 4.5 receptions and over 63.5 yards. He finished with 4 and 63.

He was targeted 9 times, he dropped a couple of passes (it happens) but the icing on the cake was him falling down a yard short of the 1st down marker on the 4th and 10 (in his defense Vick threw a bad ball).

All I can do is :mj07:

I would love to hear about "your" worst beat of all time.

Last night I played 1 h under 24.

less than 2 minutes are left til half in a 10-3 game. Life is good:toast:

Not so fast.......a fumble by forte- his first in ages apparently- was returned for a td. No prob, I say. 10-10, and just need Phil to hold bears to a fg in the 2 minute drill.

Bears are stopped and punt with 1:00 remaining. Life is good again. :toast:

Not so fast......Jackson muffs the punt at the10 yd line. Bears now stand in position to put this over with a td. No prob, i say. Phil just needs to hold them to a fg.

On 3rd down it appears Phil had stopped them. Life is good yet again:toast:

Not so fast...a bogus roughing the passer was called when the Phil DE was pushed into cutler by a bear. Result:I lose a well handicapped play. This one was as frustrating as my loss on USC +7.5 in OT to Stanford.

I had an under in college hoops once, number was around 130. End of reulation they were under 100 points and it didn't hit over the number until the THIRD overtime.

That and a Pittsburgh MNF game years back, seconds left, money in the bag, FG being kicked that did not change the result, blocked and returned for a TD.

When I was in college, I remember the Brewers were down either 6 or 7 runs headed into the bottom of the 9th inning. Their first 2 guys routinely get out. Then the next 9 guys hit safely to win the game. THAT was pretty sick

THAT MNF GAME WAS 95 OR 96 AGAINST JACKSONVILLE....THE HOLDER TURNED THE BALL SIDE WAYS....I THOUGHT COWER WAS GOING TO TACKLE THE GUY RUNNING DOWN THE SIDELINES:facepalm:

BEING 1 STRIKE AWAY FROM A WORLD SERIES BET TWICE AND LOSE WAS TOUGH AND BALT GOING 92 YDS IN 2 MIN AND SCORING WITH 8 SECS ARE STILL FRESH ON MY MIND.

I THINK THE WORST OF ALL TIMES WAS WHEN PALOMALU CAUGHT A FUMBLED KICKOFF AND SCORED LAST PLAY OF THE GAME TO COVER AGAINST SD AND THEY REVIEWED AND SAID IT DIDNT COUNT...I THINK VEGAS SAVED 70 MILLION ON THE CALL

College football game maybe 6 or 7 years ago; don't remember the teams. Had the underdog plus 4; they were down 10 with less than 2 minutes remaining. They drove the field and scored a TD with less than 20 seconds to go. I'm jumping up and down and celebrating. On the onside kick, the receiving team grabs the ball on one hop and runs 40-yards untouched into the end zone for a meaningless TD that screws me. I remember just dropping to my knees in disbelief. Still the only time I've ever seen any team score on an onside kick.

Patriots players streamed onto the field as the crowd at Foxboro Stadium erupted. The Bills were so distraught with the loss, they headed to their locker room and refused to come back out for the extra-point attempt. Kicker Adam Vinatieri ran for the uncontested two-point conversion. Although the two points may appear meaningless, point differential in division games is used in tiebreakers.

I remember losing by half a point because they converted the 2 point conversion.

wow!

wow!

Johnny, you beat me to it. I remember losing that patriots-bills game like it was yesterday. I would have pushed with the extra point but the uncontested 2 point conversion made the play a loser. No question the worst beat ever.

Although the Pitt-SD game from a few years back comes close. You remember when the refs insisted on reviewing a last second TD that did not change the result but changed the spread winner. Such a blatant fix i had never seen before...
