Everywhere I go the entire world, their mother, father, grandma, uncles, even distant cousins are on the angels tonight....I ask myself, WHY?? This one doesnt look so obvious to me. The Phils are a decent team and washburn has been beaten many times.

one game on the card tonight and it has the world champs on it....it reeks of public overflow. and the public doesnt win in this game....go PHILS!!!

I am parlaying New Jersey NHL with Philly also....

Way too many people betting with their hearts tonight. The dream is over.....a group of ducks isnt gonna go walking into new jersey and steal the Cup. get real!

Its funny you say that, usually when everyone is on one side I tend to lean the other way, but not tonite. Washburn has resurfaced as a good pitcher and the phills dont like left handed pitching, they have struggled with them all year.

Sure they got to Mulder but so did the Marlins. Mulder was coming off his worse outing of his career. Washburn is a totally different pitcher than Mulder. He is hot right now and has pitched great of late. I think you can not discount the fact they do not hit lefties that well. Moyer was a lefty and hot and shoved it up their ass. Sure this is gambling and things do happen. I am like everyone else and see the halos as the pick here. Just because their is one game does not mean everyone picks that fav. You see all the great cappers in here picking the halos because that is where all the info points. I may be a sucker like the rest of them, but will play the better team and pitcher at the moment. Washburn very seldom has a bad start. He can get to the 6th every game. Even though the Angels aren't playing like they did at the end of last season, the bullpen is no different. If they have a lead in the 6th, they will win the game most of the time. With the return of Erstad tonite, i am guessing they will have the lead tonite after 6 - they will win this game.
