I have been surprised that none of the draft analysts or ESPN draft gurus have mentioned who Byron's new QB Coach will be in Jacksonville. It could be because it might be a very bad omen for his career. The one constant for the past decade of QB hell in Cincinnati was Kenny Anderson. There were times when the O-line was in bad shape in Cincy during this time. But, Anderson's name was brought up many times over the lack of progress of the QB's under his long stint as QB coach and brief stint as Offensive Coordinator. It has been stated that his coaching style is more suited for veterans. While Jeff Blake was in Cincy he tried to convert him into a pure pocket passer instead adjusting his style to Blake's ability as a scrambling QB who liked to throw outside the pocket. I hope that Anderson does a better job with Leftwich because he could be a good, if not great, pro. One thing is for certain.... Ken Anderson is not missed by the majority of fans in Cincinnati and there is true hope for Carson Palmer under new QB's Coach Ken Zampese!!! The one thing that Byron has going for him is Mark Brunell. Hopefully he can show more coaching ability on the field than Anderson has shown on the sideline in the past.
