Interesting topic about overtime losers. The 2 I found from last week are Purdue and Ariz. St.

I'm going to keep an eye on this and see what happens. Any thoughts?

i think geo will hurt az st. the game against SC they played as vanilla as you can get - they showed nothing. also, can't imagine the TE dropping 6-8 balls again this week.

yeah morris....i saw that.

the thing is...i am not crazy about laying points on the road especially a game that georgia may find to be a bother because they play bama next week....however i still may take them....c. mich is a good possiblity...i have to give more thought before i play it...

Looks like it went 3-1 betting against the 4 OT teams.

This week it looks like a go against E Caro. and maybe NC State. Not sure of State.

Any thoughts?

hi morris....

i have been pretty busy with work so far this week & haven't looked that thoroughly at this weeks card...but there is a stat that goes against ot losers that are favored the next week...but i don't know the exact figures....which would be a play against e. carolina & toledo...but i am not crazy about taking houston against e. carolina because of their swiss cheese defense or fla. in'tl against toledo because of their terrible offense...there is a game that i have my eye on & that is the fresno / ucla game..but haven't really looked at the game close enough to give an opinion....also ncst who beat e. carolina in ot maybe a play against but i usually don't like to lay points on the road...

maybe ba or somebody else will weigh in on this topic because i think it's worthwhile to explore...

also morris i just read that their qb, who played very well against ecu will not play against so. fla...

this is what i read from another respected capper on another site concerning ncsu....

I got out of the play because O'Brien announced today at his press conference that QB Russell Wilson (the one good QB they have) is out for this game along with their best LB...I'm not as concerned about the LB as I am with Wilson...I can't put money on NCSU knowing that Harrison Beck will be leading this team...otherwise, I thought they were a great play...

maybe toy can wiegh in aon the above info..

Morris,

Not sure exactly how your overtime system works, but if it is solely based on an overtime loss then Toledo would qualify as a play.

It's a bet against OT teams the previous week. It's not my system I saw it in another thread and thought I would look at it for a while.

I believe the OT winners the following week are 55% but the losers are a good go against.

I just saw this last week and it looks like all teams that went into OT ( winners and Losers ) went 3-1.

Didn't see where the toledo game went to OT will look farther.

Thanks AR, I looked quick and didn't see Toledo. I'm going to track this and it might be worth a small wager on the loser overall for now. I think BA said he did pretty well with this.

they lost to Fresno in OT when they went for 2 instead of kicking the extra point

OK I do remember that. I just looked in the local paper and they didn't have it listed.

I am thinking this and your NFL team coming off a bye might be money makers on the side. If I had discipline of course.

Neither played the following week

OK thanks for the stats. I'm still hazy on this system because it is the 1st time I have seen it. I think AR said that the winner in OT was hitting about 55% so maybe the play on the loser the next week is the way to go.

Week 2 going against losers in OT is 1-0

Week 3 it is 2-0. The go against was Pur. and Ariz. ST which were both losers. If I'm correct.

I know it may go 0-4 next week but it may be something to watch.

AR and MC , thanks for the input. My record keeping isn't that good but if this works out maybe it will pad our wallets a little.

Will try to keep this going.

Morris sorry I didn't see this thread last week. I didn't have power till Fri. I had Geo last week. This week I agree with AR on the NC St play. I don't like it. No QB hurts though they are at home. I do like Toledo agst a bad Fla Int team. even though they we the one that lost in OT. It is how they lost as the reason I like them. But I still haven't played it yet.

Keep tracking this if you don't mind though.
