Bailout specials for today'a Philly 9th race

Not having such a good day, played 4 races and only caught 1 luke-warm wiener.

Bailouts are pricey (odds) -> thems are nos. 3 and 6 in the 9th. Plenty of time to bet these two. Win/Place bets are in; I'm thinking about using one of them in exactas with a few conteders.

BTW.... liking that Woodbine joint more and more lately

Finish was exactly like the way my "plicks" have been running too often. They look like a sure winner down the stretch and get nailed at the wire. In this race, the no. 3 had the second hoss (the favorite) by more than a length down 7/8ths of the stretch and gets nailed just before the finish line.

Yeah, yeah, I know, I know, "Happens to all of us!". :violin:

It's been happening to me WAY TOO MANY TIMES lately. Like 2 out of EVERY three plays I made.

No. 3 was 8/1 when I bet it and, surprisingly to me, they bet that one down a bit. Caught the zacta (woulda been better if the no. 3 held on) and the Place bet. Lost win/place bet on no. 6.
