Ozzie Newsome says he's not leaving the Ravens, yet

Despite ongoing speculation that G.M. Ozzie Newsome will leave the Ravens to take a job (presumably, Athletic Director) at the University of Alabama, Newsome says he has no immediate plans to leave the NFL.

The rumors have intensified because Newsome?s son is a senior in high school, and because current Alabama A.D. Mal Moore could soon be shown the front door.

?Nope, not happening,? Newsome said, according to Mike Preston of the Baltimore Sun.

Still, at some point it apparently is happening. As Newsome said in June 2009, ?At some point I?m coming back home. I?m coming home. And what I do when I get here I don?t know. But I am coming home.?

Ozzie loves his job in Baltimore, no way he goes to Alabama and takes a back seat to Saban. Saban worked under Ozzie in Cleveland. No way, keep dreaming on. :0003

jack..eric decosta is a guy that many teams have been after as their g.m....and he`s turned them all down...the guy is an amazing talent evaluator....

i hope ozzie stays...but if he doesn`t,we`re covered as long as decosta`s here...have to wonder if he turned down other offers waiting for just such a scenario(a guess...hard to turn down a plum g.m. job in the nfl)...
