Again... why punt when you're down 27 and your D can't get a stop? I just don't get it. If they want to have even a CHANCE to get back in this game, they need to make a big play or two to get some momentum. If you go for it on 4th and get it, you gain some momentum and confidence. If you don't, guess what, you're still down 27. No big loss.
How does this Big 12-SEC matchup impact everyone's thought process on the other Big 12-SEC game in the Cotton Bowl between Mizz and Arky.....also, Arky fans out there. Whats the deal w/ Monk, is he playing.

There's the big play I've been waiting for. If they can finish the drive and score a TD things could get interesting. I just don't see Bama playing well in the 2h. Maybe I'm wrong though...

Bama's given up a TD in all of their first and goal situations this year.....wow....amazing.....hard to believe...it'll be fun to see how the Buffs **** that trend up.

This crap has been going on the whole bowl season culminating in Darnell's absurd call last night. Best coach on these decisions is Urban Meyer....he never punts on 4th and short inside 50.
Buffs get a TD at about the same time Sorgi subs in for Manning....maybe the worm is turning my friends, maybe the worm is turning.

The scary thing about that is if you don't recover you give Bama a short field with a crappy defense. And if Bama scored a TD right at the end of the half that would be a dagger. They may actually have some hope now after that last score? :shrug:
Of course... you've almost got momentum on your side and then let up a nice 15 yard run up the middle. Also had a free pick in your gut and cant come up with it.

The punt, the option was stupid....the punt was a white flag....that is much worse.
Not to go all NFL on you guys, but did anyone just see that play....thats was a classic deflection and catch....hope that guys not too hurt.
