Looking at this field, I think i've heard of maybe 8% of the guys. Gonna be a difficult week, i decided.

Once again, am with Tindall. Assume he follows similar capping process as me and is a member of Stanley's site!

KJ at 20s and lost the early value on Schwartzel but still play at 33s. Adding O'Hern and Darren Clarke, both at 40s.

Ian Poulter has announced his withdrawal from the Barclays Singapore Open after failing to get a replacement driver in time for the tee-off of the Asian Tour event.

The Englishman had his driver stolen during the HSBC Champions in Shanghai last week and would not have received a replacement before the end of the second round on Friday evening.

As a result, Poulter opted not to play in the US dollars 5million event, the richest national open in Asia.

"I am really gutted. I have been thinking about it for four hours and I have decided to withdraw because my new driver will not arrive on time," said Poulter.

"It is disappointing because I did not come all this way not to play. But with so many world ranking points at stake, if I played badly I may have lost ground."

Tournament organisers announced Anirban Lahiri of India will take Poulter's place in the field.

This was one of my fades.. oh well

Here it is..
11/12/08 7:28pm Asian Golf 331 Mardan Mamat (Tourn) -125 vs Danny Lee (Tourn)

Lee obviously will be a big time player. This is a home game for Marmat who has played well at this course before, and has shown decent form.
Singapore's hopes of producing its first local winner at the Barclays Singapore Open will rest on the experienced Mardan Mamat, a two-time winner on the Asian Tour.

He is trying to treat the event like any other in hope of diverting the pressure.

"I have to concentrate on what I have to do, take it one shot at a time. The crowds always want the local players to play well. I always tell myself that I can always win again. I've won twice already and once you've broken the jinx, you can do it again. I'm not pressuring myself so much. If I can finish in the top-10, I'll be happy," he said.

Went small on this.. I have no idea. I know this course has a lot of hazards and I know Danny Lee is agressive.

The Bjorn Chopra matchup is interesting. If i could have gotten either in separate matchups i would have faded them.

Bjorn is coming off a shoulder injury. Chopra says his game is about at 70%

Dogs did u read about lawries clubs not arriving? ehh looks like he got em
Wednesday 12th November

My clubs arrived at 9.30pm last night which is pretty awful really. I would have liked to have played nine holes yesterday because the greens are really grainy and take a bit of getting used to. I played at 7.30am this morning in the pro am, the course is in great nick with quite sloppy greens. Last week I did a lot of work on my putting, trying to hole lots of short putts to get some confidence back, it felt really good today. Last night Barclays held a dinner for a few selected players and guests which I was invited to attend. It was a very good night and was all over by 9pm. I managed to sleep all night which is unusual for the first few days. I play at 12.10 tomorrow with two guys who's names I can't pronounce.

My PA at IMG wrote an email of complaint to BA about my clubs not arriving with me yet again. They have credited me with 25,000 air miles which is better than nothing but strangely enough I would much rather not loose them at all.

I was chuffed when I turned on my lap top this morning to see the Dandy Dons had won 2 0 against St Mirren and they are now up to fourth in the league table.

Monday 10th November

I've just arrived in Singapore minus my clubs.......good old British Airways!! Even when you pay ?8000 for a first class seat, they still loose your luggage, it's an absolute joke. They have informed me that my clubs will arrive tomorrow evening. The reason I flew out on Sunday was that I would be able to play and practise on Tuesday but now it will be a wasted day, but they don't seem to care about customer service.

A little aggravating. I spent like 2 hours trying to find scores and or info on the King Hassan tourney the week before..
LEADING SCORES

275 ? Ernie Els (SA) 69 67 71 68

277 ? Simon Dyson (Eng) 67 71 65 74; Johan Edfors (Sweden) 68 70 69 70.

Of course the 2 guys from last week are leading this week.. Oh well..
