I questioned it at the time saying how can you not play biggest game of career but I saw him play at Vandy , get the sit beat outta him and leading to winning season....he played with Diabetes before finding out....he had more sacks than any QB this +10 and missed one game from bad concussion and 3 for year...so I really dont think his toughness should be challenged

BUT there is no doubt, and I have 1st hand experience, that he is 1st class Richard, never been good with media, fans, teammates or coaches...so that does not help him with media coverage

would like to see the guy do well playing here in Vandy and they dont have many big names but he needs to work on his "rep"

I agree. There's something there to make him so disliked, but doubt that any pro QB is a quitter. Hell, none of them want to come out in blow out games.
With today's coverage, they should have symbolically taken his helmet away or told the booth to slack off putting the camera on him. I never cared for those gratuitous camera shots of injured players in the first place
