He using one from the Sosa playbook now:

"I have no problem being tested"

Sosa had a complete sh*t attack when he had the opportunity given to him, limo included, to be tested.

Anyone know how long it takes to get steroids out of your
bloodstream ?

I am sure Barry has had enough time to stop using for awhile now
before testing is to start.

Is it just me or does Barry look a little soft already ?

Barry does look a little off, did you see Jason Giambi? Sportscenter loves running these photos of guys 2 years ago and guys now, but man, there sure are some differences in the two you cant argue about.

"New York Yankees first baseman Jason Giambi admitted today that he played last season under the influence of blue Kool-Aid. Amidst the steroid revelations of Ken Caminiti and Jose Canseco, Giambi's admission is yet another sign of the rampant use of performance enhancers by baseball players looking for an artificial advantage in the game.

Blue Kool-Aid is widely known among gym rats as a muscle builder used to add "an edge" to workouts. The U.S. Army originally designed Blue Kool-Aid during the Cold War for the purpose of creating a race of super soldiers out of America's GI Joe-watching youth. However, the beverage was mysteriously taken off supermarket shelves in 1982, amidst several reported incidents of children spontaneously combusting in playgrounds. Blue Kool-Aid was never officially blamed for the deaths.

However, the beverage remained available to the public only as a prescription impotence drug until the mid-1990's, when Pfizer's introduction of Viagra made blue Kool-Aid obsolete as a hard-on inducer. The last batch of the drink was manufactured in 1997, and several million cases are still believed to be circulating across the continent.

Giambi admits that Blue Kool-Aid played a key role in his transformation into an MVP. "I'd start drinking it after a full day's workout, and all of a sudden I'd be hyped up for more lifting and running. There is just no way my body would have gotten as big as it was while I was taking blue Kool-Aid."

According to Giambi, he has stopped using blue Kool-Aid. The player claims he is coming clean with the hopes of bringing public awareness to the brutal after-effects of blue Kool-Aid use. "You don't understand the full consequences of using this stuff until it's too late," explains the first baseman. "I have to wear a sports bra everywhere I go now," he laments without explanation. "Plus, I've been told by doctors that I have just 2 months before I start looking like Drew Carey. There's no way to stop it. Man I wish I was Michael J Fox!!!"

Giambi notes that his first experiment with blue Kool-Aid came while vacationing in Mexico. "I was sitting in my hotel room in Tijuana, when all of a sudden, this giant fat blue guy came crashing through the wall with a huge smile on his face. He called himself ?The Kool-Aid Man.' I don't think that was his real name, but that's what I called him."

According to Giambi, he and the Kool-Aid Man worked out a system that would give him a continuous supply of the blue stuff. The dealer inconspicuously trailed behind the A's during road trips, and he dealt blue Kool-Aid out of his van to Giambi and other A's. During homestands, Kool-Aid Man slept at Giambi's guest house. "He was a very clean-living guy and seemed to always be followed by school children wherever he went," notes Giambi. "But don't let that fool you. This guy destroyed my life."

According to Giambi, blue Kool-Aid use is rampant in the majors. "At least 93% of all baseball players take blue Kool-Aid." With the Kool-Aid man unstoppable, and the Players Union unlikely to give into testing for the beverage, one only hopes that players learns something from seeing Giambi deteriorate into a fat geek with horn-rimmed glasses.

This seems unlikely, however, as many are already in denial about blue Kool-Aid use and rebuke Giambi's claims. "Ain't no one taking blue Kool-Aid," explained the retired Mark McGwire, whose valet was helping him hold up his large man boobs.

"Ahhhhhh!! Ahhhh!!!!" came the screams from Sammy Sosa, who ran through the brick wall in Wrigley Field's outfield after a reporter posed a question about blue Kool-Aid. "He just needs his steroids," explained teammate Fred McGriff. "It has nothing to do with Kool-Aid."

I heard on the radio a player could take 4 months off the "juice" and come back testing clean.

Bonds is still big. Even if he did "diet" a little, his losses are no where near Giambi's.

As far as steriods staying in the system, I've heard that you can be "clean" within 3 or 4 months of non-use-that's probably just a piss test though. I think that they can actually take samples of cells and trace usage back for several years.

Look for Cubs and Giants unders early on as a non-steroided Bonds and Sosa will put up lesser numbers. I'm hesitant to bet Yankee unders with them adding A-Rod and Sheffield.

I have never heard anything like this. I know that some steriods like nandralone(sp) will stay in your system for a while(not several years), but whats so comical about Bonds is that he thinks the general public is stupid enough to buy his "test me now" show. What good does that do now.........he could have been on for say the last 5 yrs and been clean for say 10 months now and he would test clean but still be guilty the previous years. If he really wanted people to think he was'nt using he should have given a test to the public a few years back. He would be crazy to use now with all the heat on him(and his personal trainer)

I can just see now his numbers falling off........not saying they will.......but if they do he will blame it on the fact his head isnt in it because of his dad. Kinda like making an excuse before the fact just in case you need one.

No way, your cells constantly turn over. Not possible.

There is 1 fail-proof way to tell if a guy is roiding...the size of his head (literally of course, since bonds' has grown exponentially w/ his home runs). The human skull doesn't increase in size unless you are taking HGH. I would love to know the hat sizes 6 years ago vs. now. There is no way "a regimened workout schedule" can make your facial bones bigger! :nono:

none let me say this again none no matter how much and what you stack will stay in your body past 4 months and then if you have stopped it would be very very low in the 3-4 month period if it picked it up at all, for it to stay in that long you have had to have years of use and not even coming off of cycles for 6 to 8 weeks, if used best to only break a 6-8 week for a month then go back, but it will never show up any longer then 4 months and depends what you are useing also but the lonest detion rate is 4 months tops, no the mental effects are faw longer lasting with deep bouts of depression in almost everyone i have known including myself after you stop the injections.

as for bonds he might be big but never will forget andy vanslyke kicking his ass in the buc's locker room in pittsburgh took him out with to punches and bond's was ko'ed and it was over mouthing off jim leyland. even thou bonds is IMO on some tye of juice, he has been a modle player ,lot of you guys jump his shit because he won't talk to media , well that is smart they turn shit all around all the time, but he has always been a good father, never once has he got in trouble off the field like many for drinking or dui or domestic, the man does his job , packs it up and goes home to family, he has always been like that he never did go out with the boys or hang in the club house after home games where food and tubs of ice cold beer are thee every night most guys eat knock back a few with their teammates coaches do it in their office then, lot of guys grab a six pack to take home , this is in every club house in the show, bonds just did not hang with his team which is his choice but you should hang around at times and just relax and enjoy your teammates even if you don't want to drink beer, lot of other stuff to drink and eat, but by going home every night you get labled as not wanting to be apart of the team, which i understand, but you can hate him all you want he has been a good person off the field and even if he is juiced , he still has the quickest bat speed maybe of all times and great eyes and juice does not improve either of those.

Speaking of Bonds, what's the deal with the ESPN.com and MLB.com fantasy websites not being able to use his name? They list him as "SF Leftfielder" because of licensing issues.
