A managing partner of a downtown restaurant, Harry Carry's (go figure), just bought the ball. It was sold at auction for 106,600, I'm not sure if this was him directly or he got it second hand. The publicity alone will be worth whatever he paid for the ball himself. He says he wants the fans to decide on how to destroy the ball. He wants to eliminate the chance of this ball surviving and floating around in the future as a jinx and an example of the Cubs game 6 and game 7 loses. LOL
