Tonight's game....
Take a look at this Toledo team. They really value the football. They have played 8 games and only turned the ball over 6 times! And this is against pretty decent competition (Boise St, Ohio St, Syracuse, Temple....) In only 1 game have they had multiple turnovers.....that was against Boise St where they had 2 turnovers. Consequently, they lead the MAC in turnover margin. (I did go and look at N Illinois too, and they have 11 turnovers for the year.)
Typically, N Illinois doesn't play well in the Glass Bowl and right now, Toledo is playing pretty good football. I know that you can twist numbers to make them support whatever you decide to play...I get that. But tonight, I really like Toledo to continue their winning ways and stay undefeated in the MAC.
