Plan the time of visit. Pick any day aside from Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day, as they are closed during these days. Also allot at least a whole day for your visit. Or if you are a hardcore fanatic, a couple more days could still have you mesmerized inside the Hall. Just be sure you don't run out of time to explore the showcased exhibits and events. Cooperstown is a nice place, so any extra time you may have can be used to explore other tourist destinations there.

+1

We spent a day and a half in Cooperstown and could have spent more time had we had it.
As a bonus, you could swing through Saratoga on the way and have a beer or twenty with Morris....:toast:

I was at Cooperstown about 3 wks. ago. We were only able to spend 4-5 hrs.. You need at least a full day. They will stamp your hand so you can go in & out that day. Cooperstown is a very charming little city. Parking should not be a problem this time of the year if so they have shuttles for a couple of bucks. We also went to the Hockey HOF in Toronto great place. Enjoy yourself
