Well gonna try and close the season with a bang.

Taking some series prices

St louis gets hosed on the schedule but with gonzo out, ariz just can't score. johnson and schilling need to pitch perfect in this series to win. johnson i have no doubts about, but schilling i doubt will be able to perform like last year. schilling has been shelled his last 2 starts and 1 was against st.louis. and in relief sunday he gives up 3 in 1 inning. not the kind of roll you want your ace to be on. i'll take the cardinals which has more value and imo is the better team. st louis in 5

cardinals to win series +174

the chokahawks and chickenman bonds square off in what seems to be a very interesting series. interesting is about all it will be. the braves went into cruise control mode the last month, resting players and getting ready the giants battled for a playoff spot nearly everyday. gotta believe this could have took something out of the giants. but they finished 25-8 an amazing run for sure. bonds is batting .196 in the post season, guess playoffs do get to some. i lean to the braves here for one reason. the bullpen. alanta's bullpen is the best in baseball. it is very deep and they have smoltz. plus their starting rotation is nothing to laugh about. braves in 4.

Tuesday playoffs

gonna be playing alot of unders when we have quality pitching going its a no brainer to me.

ana/stanks under 8 -110

washburn actually pitchs better on the road and clemons has been on a roll lately. washburn 13-3 on the road 2.65 era
clemons 9-1 2.84 era at home. 8 is a gift imo so i will take the under.

under 8 550/500

st.louis/ariz

heres another matchup that seems destined to go under only concern is matt morris has been hit pretty good his last 3 games. morris on the road 9-4 2.91. arizonas weak bats is what will make me take the under and johnson on the hill. without gonzo they have really very lil power in the lineup. williams has swung the bat well lately but not enough to put fear in others. randy johnson has been unhittable his last 3 starts 3-0 with an scant era of 0.36. wow. johnson 14-3, 2.12 era at home this year. number is low but still not low enough.

st.l/ariz under 7 -125

500/400
