you may very well have the right side here, but the thing that i would look here is that byrd is in uncharted waters coming off 127 pitches on 4 days rest. Facing a hot lineup of angel bats he might have his pitch per inning count go up early.
His strikeout to walk ratio was not good last time out contained in a quality start, and its very hard to put more than 3 quality starts earning the wins in those starts in a row the last 2 seasons for any pitcher.
He could give them a quality 4-5 innings but im thinking he starts to falter around the 5th-6th and then the dreaded kc bullpen is in.
Schoenweiss is no bargain in this game either, cannot see backing him also.
