Thanks for being an ass yet again. You once said you would stay out of my threads. ANytime now will be fine. I commented because Scott and others last week posted how they were all betting somne prop of UNC/ILL v The Field. But why let facts get in the way of your vendettas.

And hats off to the Heels. Let me ask - did McCants play v Santa Clara, or is he only needed to beat the bottom half of the acc?

eww, ohhhh, the santa clara loss...now that hurts.

Do you even root for a team? I have never seen you actually faithfully show allegiance to any one team. Am I to suppose TT? I thought it was Texas. I guess every time TT was down this year I should have started a post announcing it. It's easy to stand behind a tree throwing rocks when you don't root for anyone but knock everyone else. I mean, you take a really BOLD stance..."UNC will never win, roy's a loser". I mean come on, of course chances are we won't win because it's damn hard to win an NCAA championship.

personally, I dont think these tournies mean anything other than when a DOG rolls thru and gets into big dance, as a coach i would as soon make one and out exit and rest for ncaa ... the injury factor is what would worry me most, not getting tired mentally, tho that would be concern ...

I agree, tourney could go to any of a dozen teams if some got on roll ...

Well we both know nthat "top 30" is computer generated crap alhtough I know you love it.

:mj07: Because there is no bias involved. Unlike poll rankings.

I will simply note you chose to ignoe how far those guards took Illinois last year. On paper I would say Illinois is the best team and SHOULD win. Hostory shows that more often than not the team that should win doesnt. Last 3 years the champs werent even 1 seeds.

Can't players improve? Can't a team improve? Coaches improve? Last year was last year. We are talking about this year. But experience sure helps!

Now your last 3 lines make sense and that has been my argument. They may not win it, but they are one of the top 3 favorites. Argument was not to pick longshots or value picks against odds. It was about who are the top 3 teams to win it all. I was shocked in your top 3 neither UNC or Illinois were included.

Scott why would I bet on any team to win the NCAA tounament at een money odds?

And Saint this is a betting site - not a fan site. So not seeing me cheer for a team I take as a compliment. The issue here is who will win a future or against a point spread - if one is basing it on who they have allegiance to they are a fool.

Yeah you certainly are the "unbiased" bettor.

Your productive post/unending bitch rant ratio is quite staggeringly close to 0.

LMao Scott. LAst I checked humans program computers. They dont all have the same rankings do they - wonder why? I guess you would lay points with Vermont over everyone in the vaunted Big 10 other than Illinois, since thats what the computers say?

The argument was WHO are the top 3 teams to win it all. Never did we talk about ODDS or VALUE picks.

You said Washington, OSU, and WF. I said UNC, Illinois, and WF. No odds were talked about.

Now if someone argues UNC or Illinois have no value at 4-1 that is a very logical argument. But that is not what we were talking about.

There is no bias involved. Formulas are decided prior to season AND all teams are calculated same way using same formulas. THERE IS NO PERFECT SYSTEM! Doesn't exist. Always will be faults with EVERY system. Now you don't have to agree with it and nobody said to use it for wagering purposes.

Then dont read my posts. It aint that hard. All I ever see you post are gripes at me, so you may have me beat on that count. Of course Ii dont ever say anything personal about you, but because I dont kiss the ass of Roy and UNC I am somehow persecuting you. Funny thing is my best friend is a UNC alum and I generally root for them except when they play, and lose, to Texas.
