- no need to make a big write up on this game, Gonna stick with the streak. The Milwaukee Brewers come into todays game with the best record in baseball at 76-44. They have won 12 in a row and an astounding 26-4 their last 30 games. Brewers bats will get to Martinez who has been pitching WAY better than his history suggests. Brewers starter Jacob Misiorowski has been hot as well, posting an ERA of 1.98 his last 3 games. He also is good at night, going 3-1 for an ERA of 3.18 at night.

-the Red Sox come into tonight's game with a 39-22 record at home and are only 5 games out of first place and firmly in the wild card hunt. Tonight, they start RHP Lucas Giolito who is having an excellent season at 8-2 with an ERA of 3.77! Marlins starter Sandy Alcantara has been horrible this year. Check these numbers........6-11 with a 6.55 ERA overall, 2-6 with an 8.77 ERA on the road, and poor current form going 0-2 his last 2 starts giving up 11 ER's on 16 hits, and 5 BB's in just 12 IP for an ERA of 8.25! Look for Boston, who hits .266 at home to get to Alcantara early and often.
