NY Yankees (Warren) vs Kansas City (Cameron) Under 8 (-102) 2x
-With last night's 4-3 victory, the Yankees have now won 9-straight against the Royals. Today, the Yankees start RHP Will Warren who is 3-0 overall at home this year with an ERA of 1.99. In his last start vs the Royals, he spun a 4-hit shut out through 6 IP in June of 2025. (at home). In the last 9 games between these clubs the Under is 7-2. Royals starter Noah Cameron has been a much better pitcher on the road than at home. During his impressive 2025 rookie season, he was a key starter for the Royals, frequently pitching in away games with a solid 2.99 overall ERA and 1.10 WHIP that year. He finished 4th in AL Rookie of the Year voting, boasting a strong 2.31 ERA in 12 starts before the All-Star break. Warren on the other hand is 1-0 career vs the Royals in his first career start against them by pitching 5.2 scoreless innings. I see this game being similar to last night's 4-2 game. Play KC/NY Under the total of 8.

Minnesota (Bradley) -130 over Cincinnati (Abbott) 1x
-In today's game the Twins start RHP Taj Bradley who had been phenominal early on in 2026. He is a perfect 4-0 (all at home) with an ERA of 1.25 and 29 K's in 21 1/3 IP. All of his (and the Twins) wins have come by more than 2 runs. In his only start of his career vs the Reds, he is 1-0 pitching 5 1/2 innings of shutout ball. Meanwhile the Reds have been up and down so far this year scoring just 66 runs in 20 games (an avg of just 3.3 runs/game) Tonight, they start LHP Andrew Abbott who has been terrible this season pitching on the road, going 0-3 with an ERA of 6.78 and today he faces the 1st place Twins. Play Minnesota!

Parlay: Pittsburgh (Skenes) and Detroit (Skubal) +156 (2x)
-Quite frankly I can't see either of these teams losing, but price is too high so I put them in a parlay. Pittsburgh stand in 1st Place in their division and have scored 100 runs in 20 games, an avg of 5 runs/game. Paul Skenes, after a rough first start on the road) has gone 3-0 hist last 3 starts (all at home) allowing just 3 ER on 6 hits in 17 1/3 IP for an ERA of 1.56. And this year, unlike previous years, Skenes is finally getting run support with the Bucs scoring 38 runs in his 4 starts! In the next game, I'm taking 2x Cy Young award winner Tarik Skubal who has a 2.08 ERA in his last 5 starts.

St Louis (Palante) +129 over Houston (McCullers Jr.) (1x)
-This wager is soley based on my perception that the Astros are NOT a good team and a nice fade. They currently stand at 8-12 and have lost 2 straight and have lost too many pieces that madethem a contender the last few years. It is also bsdon the fact that Lance McCullers Jr. is not the same pitcher before injuries riddled him. He has only 16 starts since 2022 with a record of 3-5 with an ERA of 6.37! In addition, he has been worse in his last 2 starts, going 0-2 with an ERA of 9.36. The Astros have absolutely NO business laying -152 to a St Louis squad who is 11-8 and has won 3-straight. Play St Louis at a nice underdog price.

Junior...April in baseball is a fact finding mission. We don't have enough data yet. You need more than a month of data to figure out who these teams are. Teams are not who they will be after April. Maybe treat this as exploratory and have fun betting this and learning.

I know you have a lot of experience doing this. So do I. So do a lot of sharp bettors who are treating April as a first look for the real season that begins in May and then transitions to June, July, August. Not trying to lecture you. Just saying try to enjoy the learning process and take it easy on yourself.

Looking forward to following your takes for the rest of the season... Good luck! :smilies8
