YTD: 67-65 (+2.72u) - Back in the Black

NY Mets (Senga) RL +100 over Colorado (Quintana) (1x)
-Both of these teams are struggling mightily, but I believe the Mets get a little bit healthier at home against the Rocks. The Mets were 6-0 vs the Rockies last year with all 6 of the wins coming by 2 runs or more. New York starts RHP Kodai Senga who is 1-0 at home this season with a nice ERA of 3.21. Senga has been dominant at home, holding a 13-6 record with a 3.16 ERA and 200 strikeouts in 30 appearances. He has proven to be particularly effective at Citi Field, utilizing his "ghost fork" pitch to secure high strikeout numbers. In addition, he is 3-0 lifetime vs Colorado giving up just 3 ER's in 18 1/3 IP for an ERA of 1.47. The Rocks counter with LHP Jose Quintana who is 0-3 on the road this season for an ERA of 6.23. His last outing vs the Mets, he gave up 8 ER's in 4 1/3 IP taking the loss. Play the Mets on the R/L..........

NY Yankees (Weathers) RL +105 over Houston (Burrows) (1x)
-As mentioned here many times, Houston is big fade this year. They are currently in last place in the AL West with a record of 10-17. Astros' starter Mike Burrows has been 'less than excellent' going 1-4 with an ERA of 6.75. Houston pitching has given up 162 runs this year, an average of 6 runs/game. Meanwhile, the Yankees have won 7-straight and 9 of their last 11 with a record of 9-4 on the road and a run differencial of +45 (best in the AL) Yankees starter Ryan Weathers is 2-3 this year with a nice ERA of 3.18 and has not faced Houston in his career.. Play the Yankees on the RL.

ChiCubs (Rea) +129 over La Dodgers (Sasaki) (1x)
-With last night's come-from-behind victory over the Dodgers, the Cubs have now won 10-straight with a record of 17-9. Tonight, the Cubs send RHP Colin Ray to the mound who is 3-0 this year with and ERA of 3.00 in 5 appearances (2 starts) this season. In his last 3 seasons, Rea is 26-13 overall with an ERA of 4.01. Meanwhile, Los Angeles sends RHP Roki Sasaki to the hill who sports a 1-3 record this year with a 6.11 ERA. Tonight I'm gonna take a shot with the red hot Cubs at a nice underdog price.

Atlanta (Elder) -130 over Philadelphia (Wheeler) (2x)
-The Braves come into tonight's game with the best record in baseball at 19-8. They have won 9 of 10 an 3-straight. Tonight, they send RHP Bryce Elder to the mound who is 4-1 with an ERA of 1.50 and a perfect 4-0 at home. He faces the Philadelphia Phillies who are in a complete free fall, sitting at 8-18 (the worst record in baseball), 3-8 on the road and have lost 10-straight. They simply are not hitting, averaging just 3.58 runs/game. Tonight, the Phills send RHP Zack Wheeler to the mound to make his first start of 2026. Despite being a good road pitcher in his career, last year he was 0-2 vs the Braves (both on the road), giving up 11 ER's on 19 baserunners in just 10 2/3 IP for an ERA of 9.24. There is also the extreme possibility of Wheeler being on a pitch count with the Phill's bullpen having an ERA of 4.66! Play the Braves tonight
