Cleveland GM1 -114
-This is beginning to sound like a broken record lol.....but Cleveland is red-hot winning 8-straight games and 13 of their last 14 contests! The Guardians have moved from a non-factor to being 1.5 games out of the wild-card hunt and just 2.5 back of Detroit in the AL Central. Today, in game #1 vs the Twins they start Slade Ceccioni who is a mediocre 6-6 on the season but his current form is much better. In his last 2 starts, he is 1-0 with and ERA of 1.32 giving up only 4 hit in 13 2/3 IP. Meanwhile, the Twins have lost 7 of 9 games and are just 3-7 his last 10 head-to-head meetings with Cleveland. Starting for the Twins is RHP Joe Ryan who has awful current form going just 1-2 in his last 5 starts with an ERA of 6.50! In his last 2 starts, he is 0-1 giving up 18 baserunners and 7 ER's in just 6 IP for an ERA of 10.50! Furthermore, he is 0-3 his last 3 start vs Cleveland.....Play Cleveland in Game #1 of this double-header

Note: If Cleveland wins game #1. I will play Cleveland again in game #2

A's -110 (2x)
We won with the A's last night and were going back to them again tonight. The A's are 7-1 their last 8 games and have won 5-straight in head-to-head games with the Pirates! Tonight the A's are starting RHP Luis Morales who is making his 6th start of the season. In his first 5, he was very good, going 3-2 with an ERA of 3.49. In addition, he has made 3 starts on the road, going 1-0 with a 1.88 ERA striking out 18 batters in just 14 /2 IP and an OBA of .140! The pirates enter this game going just 1-10 their last 11 games and haven't been hitting scoring just 31 runs in 16 games (an Avg of 1.94 runs per game) Tonight, they start RHP Bubba Chandler, who in his only start at home this season, was rocked for 9 ER's, 12 base runners in just 2 2/3 for an ERA of 30.25! Play the A's tonight as a (2x) play......

NY Mets RL -120
-The NY Mets are actually playing better as of last, winning 4 of their last 5 at home where they are 49-30. They are 2 games ahead of the Reds for the last wild card spot in the NL, so they are playing with a sense of urgency. Tonight the Mets start RHP Nolan McLean who has been brilliant in his 6 starts this season going 4-1 with an ERA of just 1.19. In Addition, he is 2-0 with a 0.00 ERA in 3 starts at home with 21 k's in 19 1/2 IP and an opponents BA of .169! Meanwhile, the Nats are just 2-8 their last 10 games and tonight they start RHP Cade Cavalli who is just 1-1 on the road in 4 starts with an ERA of 7.85, allowing 35 base runners and 6 HR's in just 18 1/3 IP. furthermore, in his last 5 starts, he has an ERA of 6.56! Play the NY Mets on the run line.

Houston -111
In the battle of the Al West, Seattle took game 1 last night to move ahead of the Astros by 1 game. However, tonight I like Houston to even it back up again with LHP Framber Valdez on the mound. Valdez is amazing at home this year, going 6-2 with a 2.21 ERA and 98 strikeouts in 89 1/2 IP. In addition, he has an ERA of 2.82 at night! In 2 starts vs Seattle this year, he is 1-0, giving up just 1 ER on 6 hits in 12 IP for an ERA of 0.75! Meanwhile, Seattle starts RHP George Kirby who has an ERA of 5.74 on the road and an ERA of 4.75 at night! In one start vs Houston this year, he lasted only 3 2/3 innings for an ERA of 12.27 and getting the loss! Play Houston and Valdez tonight!

At least the Guardians batted around and put up 6 runs! Good thinking on this double header. I can't believe the books can just ignore how they are playing! Thanks for the heads up. Keep going! And get some sleep. ;)
